I live in the heart of Pelosi-Speier-Boxer country.
All of them support abortion as a woman’s ‘right to choose.’
Sorry to say, all of them are CATHOLIC and they have lost their way.

Abortion is NOT an available moral choice for anyone,
regardless of the current laws (laws that are only 40 yrs old!).

reproductive health, including the option of killing their babies -
without being a ‘supporter’ of abortion.”

How’s that sound to you?

Only in the bizzaro world of pro-abortion politics. In that world women who kill their children are brave women standing up against “bullies”.

That’s your opinion. I know virtually no Catholic women who take your absolutist position. I know no priests personally (apart from Joe Fessio) who take such an absolutist opinion. Of course, you will simply say “they have lost their way.” That’s your opinion, and you have a right to hold it!

Odd that you can be so defensive about political women who are so “pro-choice.”
Every one of them KNOWS and SAYS that mean they are defending abortion.

How very odd that you “can’t” see that.
I guess you don’t know anyone who is pro-life then.
How terrifically unusual for a Catholic woman.

(BTW, my opinion is the opinion of the Church.
Catholics are NOT free to stand as pro-choice leaders.)

Anecdotal evidence proves nothing and of course the opinion of your acquaintances has no bearing on the teachings of the Church. Since you hold yourself out as a Catholic people should be are that you opinion on abortion is a direct rejection of Church Teaching.

Tell that to my pastors. I know of no priests who would condemn a girl who was raped and became pregnant that she was a murderer for taking the “morning after” pill. I’m sure there are Catholic priests who would condemn her, but I haven’t met them.

If you know a Priest who believes abortion in caes of rape is moral you should report them to their Bishop ASAP . The Church teaching on this is crystal clear. The “Morning after pill”. for instance , can only be administered after it has been determined conception has not taken place…

Would your pastors counsel them to take the pill or visit PP for an abortion in the first place?

I don’t know (haven’t asked them). No doubt they would not recommend PP, but rather seeking the advice of the girl’s family physician. We can talk by PM; I have a PowerPoint to prepare.
