So does that mean that the holy spirit and father also died for our sins then?

It’s important to remember in both testements, God speaks of a scrafice to atone for our sins.

This is why false offerings angered him greatly.

The devil has no power or temptation over God.
But Jesus the son who was also flesh could be tempted.

When Jesus became the living sacrfice, God showed the devil his true power.

The devil was defeated and the prophecy were fulfilled.

There was a thread some time ago about if God died in the Cross. As the answer is positive, I think, through the nature of the Hypostatic Union, we can say that the rest of the Trinity died in a sense, as strange as it may sound.

In other words, I think the process that affect God the Son cannot be separated from the process that affect the Holy Trinity.

Personally, i’m finding it very difficult to understand the notion that the Father or holy spirit saves, if the Father sent us his only son for our redemption. And if the holy spirit or the father is just as much as a saviour as Christ, then why is it always emphasized that Christ is our only saviour in the life of the church?

Because Christ was crucified, not the Father nor the Holy Spirit.

It is Church teaching that christ died for our sins and hence is our saviour. So how is the father saviour and how does this not contradict, Church teaching that Christ is our only saviour?
It only contradicts those who do not understand Church teaching.

Jesus is God Incarnate He and the Father are One. Not the same Person —the same God. God is our Savior. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”- John 3:16

Because the Three are One.
In human understanding, if a family was stranded and they called on you to help them, and you sent your son to help them, it was your action through your son that the family was saved. The Incarnation itself came through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
