**Yes, you seem to be getting closer to your belief system. I made a small mistake. The words were “Jesus is God but God is not Jesus.”>>>Planten

**To fully get the magnitude of the relationship between God and Jesus, one needs to understand why Jesus came in the first place.

If the case for Jesus is not made in the redemptive work of God, then God can not be Jesus reconciling the world back unto “Himself”.

“God alone” can redeem what He Him self created, and not the created.

The only power the created has is in it’s own, is to will!

To will one’s will to the creator is to believe by faith that God was in Jesus reconciling us back from the great gulf span that alienated us in death from God.

The sooner one can understand to believe by faith that God is Jesus, the sooner one is able to enjoy the benefits of His kingdom.

Otherwise, Planten, you’ll have to wait till your end, while missing out on so great a blessing.

Your welcome to believe what you want, for that is your will which, BTW, is freely given to you to exercise.

But I can atest first hand, that Jesus is God and that He alone as God has made me a member of His heavenly body while yet still here on earth.

Give yourself the benefit of the doubt, that perhaps Jesus is God and God is Jesus, and surrender your heart in whole to Him, and see if He will not fulfill all the promises He gave you.

Here is one of many:Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

That is all that is required! Upon meeting that requirement, the windows of heaven shall be opened up unto you.

What Frank4YAHWEH forgets is even John said Jesus came before him. John 1:15 (The Scriptures Version - ISR) Yoḥanan bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has become before me, because He was before me.’ ”

He also forgets that Jesus is the Son, Father, and Spirit. Isaiah 9:6 (The Scriptures Version - ISR) "For a Child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us, and the rule is on His shoulder. And His Name is called Wonder, Counsellor, Strong Ěl, Father of Continuity, Prince of Peace."

He also forgets that Yahweh says the Jews will look upon Him (Yahweh speaking in first person) whom they pierced. Zechariah 12:10 (The Scriptures Version - ISR) “And I shall pour on the house of Dawiḏ and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim a spirit of favour and prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son. And they shall be in bitterness over Him as a bitterness over the first-born." Yahweh says He was pierced, and then He indicates that He is the Son.

I’m not of the Trinity belief, I believe there is only one God, whose name is Yahweh. Yahweh came to earth as a man, took upon Himself the Name of Yahushua. He completely emptied Himself of all His powers, and trusted fully on the Spirit of God to complete the task set before Him, that of being the Rock, Saviour, Redeemer and King. Isaiah 60:16b (The Scriptures Version - ISR) “And you shall know that I, יהוה (Yahweh) your Saviour and your Redeemer, am the Elohim of Ya’aqob" And Psalm 19:14 (The Scriptures Version - ISR) "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O יהוה (Yahweh), my rock and my redeemer."

Yahshua and the Spirit are manifestations of Yahweh; Yahshua is God, He is Yahweh, He is Immanuel, God with us.

Many have difficulty understanding that Jesus is God,is of the Father, but is not the Father.

In Hebrews 1, the Father refers to the Son as God. Who are we to question that.

The Father begat his Son the Word, in the beginning, even before the creation of the heavens and earth. The Father begat the Son a life unto himself. (John 5:26) The Father gave his Son the fullness of his Holy Spirit, without measure. The will of the Son was only that of his Father. So it is not robbery to consider the Son God, for he is the perfect will of his Father.

So what is it that makes it okay to call Jesus God. The first and foremost is he was begotten of the father, his expressed image. The second thing is he was filled with the Holy Spirit of his Father without measure.

Yet, there will come a time when the Son will relinquish the authority of the Godhead back unto the Father. For there is only one God. 1Cor. 15:24-28

So in short, the Father has authorized his Son who is the expressed image of the Father to do his will over all of creation. All things were created by the Son and through the Son by the will of his Father though the unction of his Holy Spirit.

For no man cometh unto the Father, but through the Son.

Genesis 18:1 “And יהוה (Yahweh) appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamrĕ, while he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.” Genesis 18:22 So the men turned away from there and went toward Seḏoom, but יהוה (Yahweh) still stood before Aḇraham.

Genesis 32:24 “And Ya’aqoḇ was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.” Genesis 32:30 "And Ya’aqoḇ called the name of the place Peni’ĕl, ‘For I have seen Elohim face to face, and my life is preserved.’"

Exodus 34:5
"And יהוה (Yahweh) came down in the cloud and stood with him [Moses] there, and proclaimed the Name, יהוה (Yahweh)."

Here are some passages which say Yahweh appeared in the form of a man. We need to seriously consider that the oldest manuscripts (as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls) do not have the words “the LORD” written in but in fact have God’s personal Name written in. Yahweh has already appeared in the form of a man before the birth of Yahshua (Jesus).

The reason we say Yahshua is the Son of God is because He had no earthly father, it was the Spirit of God who caused Miryam (Mary) to become pregnant. I wouldn’t say Yahshua is a different person, or another God, but rather a separate manifestation of Yahweh.

Yahshua has always been with God because the Word has always been with God. The Word comes from the bosom of God, hence the Word is God.

Peace greetings ALL,

I do not espouse to the doctrine “Jesus IS God!” Nowhere in Scripture am I asked to confess or profess “Jesus IS God!” I believe that Yahshua (“Jesus”) is the son of the living Yahweh (“God”). I believe this is what the so called “New Testament” teaches and ask me to confess. I also do not believe that Yahshua pre-existed his birth and was a co-creator with Father Yahweh in the beginning. I believe that Yahshua came (was born and began) in the flesh.

To Believe “Jesus IS God!” Is To Be Deceived!

Did Yahshua Create?
Did Thomas said some place in the bible “My Lord and My God” I do not have time to find the verse but its there, can some one help with chapter and verse

Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Only…I say only God can save, and in order for God to save mankind, He must become as like a man if we are to be in Him and He in us.

Adam was created a living soul and it’s sons after him in the image. (Likeness of God in it’s ability to know good and evil)

Separate from God, mankind became an individual resulting in death, as if mankind was a god of its own, (which is) separate from the one true God which, we all know that two gods can not exist. One must die, and surely, not the true God, but the lesser one, mankind.

Gods creation resulted in the death of the soul. Likewise, God’s recreation resulted in the giving of life to a dead soul.

Two trees: The tree of knowledge and the tree of life.

The first tree brought death and the second tree grants life.

Hence; the first “man” Adam and the second “man” Adam both flesh, yet one was brought back from the dead to live forever, and in whose resurrected body we all shall live.

Ref: Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Mar 9:9 And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

If we look at the first Adam as if not having ever died, we see the second Adam living forever.

But the fact is that the first man Adam did die and in which the second Man Adam did live and is living forever.

This second man Adam has a name! That name under the heavens by which all mankind can be saved.
Ref: Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

If that name saves the souls of mankind, than it can only mean one thing…that in that name we see God as Jesus.

That is our Gods name, Jesus: Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

While on the earth Jesus could not take credit as God, for if He were to do it would mean giving in to the lust of the flesh, nullifying His mission to conquer the lusts of the flesh.

There should be no doubt what’s so ever for anyone not to credit Jesus as God.
Just think, without Him there is no salvation.

If God is the only one that can save, then it must be Jesus.

Enjoy Him, praise Him, bow at His feet for in Him you have life!

Blessings, AJ

Good one AJ!

Here’s a different take on the same passage: (The Scriptures - ISR) "And T’oma answered and said to Him, “My Master and my Elohim!”

And how’s this that confirms Yahshua (Jesus) is God, check it out:

Hebrews 1:8-10 But to the Son He says, “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a sceptre of straightness is the sceptre of Your reign. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Because of this, Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” And, “You, Master, did found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of Your hands."

The Son is Elohim (God)! It even goes to say the Son created the Heavens and the Earth.

Yahshua has always been with God because the Word has always been with God. The Word comes from the bosom of God, hence the Word is God.
Does a word exist until spoken?

Nowhere in Scripture am I asked to confess or profess “Jesus IS God!”
God the Father himself referred to the Son as God. Shouldn’t we?

Hebrews 1:

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Matthew28_6

And how’s this that confirms Yahshua (Jesus) is God, check it out:
Hebrews 1:8-10 But to the Son He says, “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a sceptre of straightness is the sceptre of Your reign. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Because of this, Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” And, “You, Master, did found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.">>> Matthew28_6
That’s one which believer can trust in.

But I go deeper than those verses by going to the works of God from the creation.

You see, the word “father” denotes one above all, as in the head of all, which in the case of creation, is the Father God.

Father God created Adam, a god (Lower case g) in His image, and in so doing Adam became a separate entity, apart from God.

That is the only way God could have given us the ability to have intelligence to choose between to extremes: good and evil.

Being a separate entity required death of one, that one being Adam, being that there is only but one God, and not another.

But that was not a design without salvation of Adams soul.

Enter: God in human form, by the name Jesus, who in human form was able to bridge the gap of separation of death to life again in Him.

That required that Jesus fit the mould of a perfect human being for all of us, giving us His perfection as our own to again enter into the Fathers Kingdom through Jesus.

God new name is Ya(Father) shua(His salvation) meaning Jesus.

Jesus then is the new name of God by which all mankind may be saved.

What better benefit could God give us to experience being gods without the penalty of eternal death and still live forever?

Jesus was God in human form and after which now is in spirit, (Holy Spirit) renewing hearts all over the world as humanity seeks Him out.

Now, if anyone chooses not to believe in God, then that is also a freedom of choice granted by God, but with consequences, subject to what comfort this world can give as opposed to what God can give.

A clear picture is drawn out in the bible in it’s entirety, but because of human intervention, the picture has being made cloudy, hazy and subject to human understanding with physical things verses with Godly faith, which is in the invisible.

God can be understood by the physical creation of things, but to truly know Him, one must experience His presence.

s, you seem to be getting closer to your belief system. I made a small mistake. The words were “Jesus is God but God is not Jesus.”
Still quite complicated, contradicting statement. Even if we follow your words, It means that Jesus is God but God is not Jesus alone. Means that Jesus is god beside other god. Or, God is not only Jesus. Jesus alone is not God. Anyway you read it, it creates problem. God is not Jesus alone. It means Jesus is not the only god.
To me, God forbids all such things. That is, you create big problem yourself. Then, instead of retracting your steps, you try to justify it by more complications.
What is it that makes it right to call Jesus God? The bible tells us that he had the Holy Spirit without measure. That means he will filled with the Holy Spirit without end. He has the fullness of his Father.

Yet, there is the question in that the Son answers unto the Father. Which is rightly so. For even on earth, the Son is to answer to his Father. How much more then with God

So now we are pressed with the question, if Jesus has to answer to the Father, how is it said he is equal to the Father? The answer is simple. Jesus was submissive to the will of his Father completely.

Yet, will the Son retain the fullness or authority of his Father? The answer can be found in 1 Cor. 15:24-28. It says that when the Son offers up the kingdom unto the Father, he to will be subject to the Father, thus relinquishing the authority of the Godhead so that the Father can be all in all. For there is only one God.

So when the Son has fullfilled the plan of the Father by starting and finishing God’s plan for mankind, he will be subject to the Father.

Tell me what part of this verse is not God?
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

God saves? If Jesus was not God, than it might have been stated: “for there is none other name under heaven given (” I AM THAT I AM) whereby we must be saved.

Jesus is the equation, and therefore God.

Yes, Jesus had the holy spirit. Jesus was aided with the holy spirit (as mentioned in the Quran). So was Muhammad and every other prophet of God. They were all aided and guided by the holy spirit. Holy Spirit was not only for Jesus. Please consider. Thanks.

No disrespect to Muhammad and any other prophet, for the spirit of God dwells only in measure on them while the fullness of the Godhead rested on Jesus.

Ref: Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

We have to understand the gravity of the eternal separation problem which no man could address without being born of the spirit of God.

When Adam was formed he was given the breath of life as a Son of God, as like God.
The consequence was separation from God because of the god like status.

Can we understand what that means?

One God! Not many, as in all humanity?

Yet, we still can exist eternally, only if, again we are born again of the spirit of God, this time existing in Jesus’ spirit. The Spirit of God, is Jesus in us!

None of the prophets, nor any other religious figure in all of human history could save mankind save God…in Jesus.

There should be no argument if we can see to understand what all took place as God worked it out.

We could argue till the Sun stops shining to no avail, because unless, understanding of Gods works from His view is seen, we shall continue to believe Jesus is not God.

Blessings, AJ

For Muhammad to be of that spirit of truth known as the Holy Spirit, he would of had to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and saved by acknowledging he was a sinner and asked Jesus to forgive him of his sins. And I don’t believe he did that. So he would not be of that spirit of truth.

ON TOP OF THAT, if Muhammad had been born again, you would not see muslims seeking to kill christians.

The Christian faith saves men.

The muslim faith kills men.

Is that the abridged form of Christianity?

Does a word exist until spoken?
It is easy to simply regard the translation of the Greek Logos as “word” as it is usually translated in the Bible. But do not limit yourself to thinking of Logos as the literal meaning of the English word “word.” In Greek, the original language of the Gospel According to John, Logos means much more than literally, the “word.” The distinct meanings of the Greek word Logos can extend to, and can be translated into wisdom, thought, speech, proportion, or reason. When we limit the Logos to just “word”, we do an injustice to the intent of the author of the Gospel of John when he described Christ as the Logos.

Pope Benedict XVI has this to say on the Logos translated as reason:
“Only creative reason, which in the crucified God is manifested as love, can really show us the way. In the so necessary dialogue between secularists and Catholics, we Christians must be very careful to remain faithful to this fundamental line: to live a faith that comes from the ‘Logos,’ from creative reason, and that, because of this, is also open to all that is truly rational (catholiceducation.org/articles/politics/pg0143.html).”.”)

Is that the abridged form of Christianity?
Jesus said to love your enemies. He said to bless them who do evil to you. He did not say to go and kill those who refuse to believe in him. For to kill a man is to take all the chances he had to be saved, but become lost by his death.

It is not the will of God that any should perish, but all be saved. That is what his church stands upon.
