Ronnie Howard, yes, quite a bit younger than Gomer, well, within reason I suppose. That has to be the most rerunned show, along with Lucy and some others. Andy Griffith was small town main street America, USA. With Floyd and others, it was already a mature cast, some like the character who played Howard Sprague died relatively young to begin with. Don Knots, Andy and George Lindsay have only passed away over the past few years.Liked the Goober photo Broomwagon!
“Gomer” somehow has outlived the others from “Mayberry” and Sgt. Carter.
Maybe the Lord is giving him space for repentance. Today’s news doesn’t look good though.
