I mean of other “offenders.” If a priest knows a local parishioner is having an affair, is he obligated to deny him?How public has he been in his support of abortion and fellow Democrats?

Interesting. My guess is that only about 10-15% of participants in the Eucharist are actually fit to receive by the laws of the church. That would make for a pretty short line.I believe so, yes.
Yes I totally agree with you!Loud-living-dogma:![]()

So the stance that “most” must have is “let God decide” or something to that effect, don’t you think? (I’m not implying that “most” means it is “right.”)Yes I totally agree with you!
Let the Church grant Her priests the faculty to withhold the Eucharist from those who aren’t taking care of their sins. How is that different? We all are sinners.
As I said, I take care of my own sins.
Let Mr. Biden take care of his sins.
I don’t know what they’re thinking. With the poor catechesis and upbringing of most people in the past fifty years, heaven only knows what people are thinking.Loud-living-dogma:![]()

I guess we all should abstain from receiving then…Protecting the Eucharist from an unworthy person
Pretty bold statement… seems to imply that you know the state of someone’s relationship with God… I’d refer you back to the litany of bible quotes against doing that. The medicine of the soul does no good to the one who rejects Him whom the medicine is.
If the “most” were publicly disobeying Christ, as Biden is, yes.But it seems the priest should be intervening like he did with Biden if we are to go by the opinions of this forum.
Yes, Biden freely chose to publicly support abortion and walk up for Communion.Free will.
If you don’t like that one, pick one of the many others referenced.Don’t judge lest you be judged. The most misinterpreted and abused passage in scripture; most often by liberals.
