A lot of them don’t. A friend of mine was a state senator. He is also a skilled lawyer. He told me the other senators and reps used to come to him all the time to draft legislation for them. Some of them introduce bills but have never written a single one of them.

Did I say he wrote laws? Generally staffers do the actual writing, while the Senator directs their work. That is largely what you describe with the state senator, though depending on the state, they have fewer resources than the US Senate, hence the need to seek help from lawyers.
A senator has an idea for legislation and gets help finding out if the idea is feasible, redundant, or silly; when it is ripe enough, his staffers write legislation, under his direction, that can be made into a law. After it is submitted, it is sent to a relevant committee where it is considered, amended, recommended, ignored, or otherwise handled; generally the author of the bill will be represented somehow, usually by the staffers who wrote the bill or by consultation with committee staff and members.
Anyway, Biden has 28 years of experience as a Senator and 8 additional years as President of the Senate, so he knows something about the process. Personally I would not jump to accuse him of ignorance of the processes and their legitimacy.

I’m more interested how she’s pretty much gotten a pass on her overtly sexist womanxplaining from the Kavanaugh smear campaign:
"I just want to say to the men of this country just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change.”

It seems that “mansplaining” is just a PC way to protect liberal women from being treated in an equal manner.

Will she tell Joe Biden to step up and do the right thing in regards to the sexual assault allegations against him? No she won’t. Why? Because he supports her politics.

The most egregious display of political expediency would belong to Harris, who said she believes Biden’s accuser, but is willing to forget about it in exchange for political power.

Hirono and Harris will say horrible things about others, but will play the “woman card” or the “race card” to shut down criticism of what they say.
 
I find it extremely rude and condescending to correct someone who made an honest mistake and to assume she meant anything different from that. We all have lapses of memory from time to time. Let it go.
 
Our country currently has no attachment to the foundational ideology, constitution or ways of doing things. We were founded on unanimous self evident constitutive reality based not on what people fabricated and made up in their imaginations but based off of the truth to everybody as one would find by scientific congressional method. The declaration of independence makes it pretty clear at the level of unanimity what this country is about. I would say an upper class congress and people that are foreign to the entirety of the foundational effort shared is unconstitutional, the republican and democratic parties are both threats to the unanimity and letting congress and supreme court decisions that are divided, be treated as if they are laws, is totally crazy…continued next post.
 
It is not for our people to make laws governing the physical nature of the universe, but instead to intelligently reveal and put forward unanimously evident constitutional conceptions that establish unity.
The entire supreme court is non-constitutional and it is what they call training issues in the military, you can’t balance the scales of justice by establishing betwixed laws, the Supreme Court is a joke and at best divides the country, and then wrongfully imposes lawyer generated logic snares on the people that causes terrible civil strife and non-compatibility. They leave the citizen stuck with how to constitutionally make their decisions work for everybody as a whole, same with congress for that matter, where they could establish what it constitutionally is for 9 people in the supreme court, 100 people in the senate and it would be deep rooted enough and inclusive to expect the citizens to be able to be aligned with the legislation/rulings, but no, they vote for it and reflect nothing more than the divided problem they started with, having done nothing to establish how it could even possibly be upheld amongst themselves let alone all 50 states and all citizens, leaving where people should have civil strife and be of a mindset that is with all other things being equal, going to commit apparent criminal acts, because their laws and divided voting is some kind of merchant republic, conquer the world Roman empire crap and the Republic of the same. They think they can just whimsically do a popularity vote and the universe will jump into conformity and create the constitutive unanimous mode of execution, really, that the courts can’t establish deep rooted, apparent to all justice decisions, leaving the poor citizen to bear the burden of how to actually establish things like, same sex marriage recognition…seriously have you ever tried to put one measure on one side of a scale, say it weighs +3 ounces and then a totally the other way weight on the opposing side, like subtract 3…does that really balance scales…seriously…all of our Supreme Court needs to learn to use scales, the states need to act like they are guilty of every crime (hence the 1000s of identical convictions, as if you were constitutionally causes them…maybe by divisive legislation)…the constitution is not meant to be two different ways and the court/state is not meant to be fully innocent on one hand and fully guilty on the other. The courts are supposed to uphold the rights, like presumption of innocence and pursue what would self-evidently cause for the crime in question to be reasonably not committed in the future and for all citizens, that is why they are judges of the states, solve it once correctly for everybody and you don’t have to torture citizens endlessly while repeating the same crimes continuously.

it’s far more likely he was talking out of his butt,
something he also has a history of doing.

Excellent observations and I might “swipe” that one from you (hope you don’t mind) sometime in the future. I will give you credit though. (Assuming I remember.)

Especially the reminder of Harris admitting she believes Tara Reade (Biden’s accuser) but jump on board the Biden train anyway for power for herself.
