The U.S has wiped out entire races of people. So lets not cast stones. The Russians are not in the Ukraine there is no evidence. And Kiev were the ones responsible for the downing of flight mh-17

Reagan did drop the ball. The first suicide bomb had him turning tail and running.
When the Islamists took note at just how effective suicide bombings were at getting a chanre in policy from Americans, Reagan’s response only encouraged more and more and more of the same.
Intelligence is so necessary for this kind of war. There were effective networks that were beginning to be built during the surge, but withdrawal from the region does not bode well for the future of effective intelligence gahering.
 
Again, this is only my personal opinion, but I feel that the entire world got caught short with ISIS and the muslim terrorists in general. Since the first muslim crawled out from under his or her rock, they have publicly stated how they feel that infidels should be managed. It’s just that in our modern world, it’ hard for any sane person to accept that they are serious. We are PC now days. This means that what I just said many people would consider bigoted–even if ISIS had just killed their family. We need to wise up—and it wouldn’t hurt to dump the “PC junk” too! Why didn’t we have these problems with muslims in the 50’s and 60’s? Because they were afraid of us–we would have responded to 911 by blowing half the middle east into a parking lot that would have glowed in the dark for the next hundred years or so… We have weak leaders now and weak followers, and like rabid dogs, they smell our weakness!

How could it possibly be America’s fault that ISIS acts as it does? ISIS will not be satisfied until islam is the only religion in the world–and their brand of it at that. The only mistake Ameirica has made is not nuking them all until they glowed before they got as powerful as they have–because, and remember I said this–it will eventually come to the entire world converting to islam and living under sunni law or the world getting it together and destroying every last one of them. And that will no longer be so easy–they are like cockroaches who multiply even when you can’t see them doing so.

I think its all politics which has little to do with what Islam wants. And because of nuclear power. The argument becomes one of which Islamic group can be inclusive and which is the lesser of the two evils. This is determined by nuclear power. Which at the moment is why the Sunnis are favored as less of a threat in particular to Israel. Russia has a different view on this and one which is in its best interest. The real issue is the US and Russia working together instead of playing Islam as its pawn to protect its own interests.

The German government announced on Sunday evening it would send anti-tank missiles and machine guns to Kurdish fighters battling Islamic State (IS) extremists in northern Iraq.
The German Defense Ministry said the arms, as well as protective gear and communications equipment, would be enough to supply 4,000 Kurdish Peshmerga fighters.
The delivery will take place over three shipments to start at the end of September. It will include 8,000 German-made G36 assault rifles and ammunition, 30 MILAN anti-tank systems, and five heavily armored Dingo infantry vehicles.
Berlin will also send 50 million euros ($65.6 million) in humanitarian aid to the region.
German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen (above right) made the announcement in Berlin alongside Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier (above left), who said Germany must help in the fight against the Islamic State (IS).
“The situation in Iraq is extremely critical,” von der Leyen said, accusing IS of “merciless brutality.”
The IS has made significant territorial gains in recent months as part of a quest to establish a “caliphate” in northern Iraq and Syria. Chancellor Angela Merkel recently labeled the group’s actions as “genocide.”

The move breaks Germany’s long-standing reluctance to join military operations overseas, in part due to the military aggression from the Nazis last century and the consequent deep sense of pacifism in the country.
“This is the most difficult decision that I have had to make in my career,” said German Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who is also the vice chancellor in Merkel’s ruling coalition.
Merkel has repeatedly ruled out sending ground troops to Iraq.
Lawmakers in Germany’s parliament, the Bundestag, are set to vote on the government’s decision on Monday. Merkel’s conservative Christian Democrat-led political bloc and its left-leaning Social Democrat (SPD) coalition partner, led by Gabriel, plan to back the move.

I disagree. I think in ISIS we are dealing with a cult-like religion that doesn’t respect women, other nationalities and ways of life or even life itself. You can’t talk to a rattlesnake. You take a hoe to it preferably before it bites you…

Its the manifestation of pure evil and with it comes a question. What are we doing about it? The debate on whos fault it is and how it escalated, really doesn’t solve the issue. It makes people excitable and more dangerous. 🙂 The attitude becomes; “well you created so you take care of it”. No good:nope: We need consensus on the world level and especially with Russia and China in the UN. The interests are “secondary” now. Unless pure evil is your interest?

Even John McCain during the Presidential campaign of 2008 chastised a person for, erroneously, bringing Obama’s (Muslim) religion into the mix. McCain has nothing over you, it appears, when it comes to statements such as “since the first muslim crawled out from under his or her rock…” Do you believe all Muslims should be exterminated, not only ISIS? You are the proud anti-PC!
 
With the full knowledge of how the forces of anarchy were released after the removal of the strong man in Iraq, it is particularly disconcerting that the Europeans and Obama never took that to heart when they supported the Arab Spring, and the killing of the strong man in Libya.

It was a long hard struggle in Iraq to surge successfully against the terrorists who used minorities for target practice, and that took a great deal of effort by the full of the American military. How Obama and his European allies thought that aerial strikes without troops on the ground to maintain order would accomplish better results than what happened in Iraq demonstrates a lot of delusional thinking on their part.
Contrary to leftist opinion, the forces of liberalism are very weak in the ME. As much as young people with cell phones would rise to the top of the Arab Spring and Libray was a romantically appealing idea, Iraq really ought to have served everybody notice that this was not going to be the case.
