In essence He did. When He said that “of such is the kingdom of God,” that means that they are already saved, therefore nothing more need to be done to save them.

Again, does that mean He disallows baptizing infants? That cannot be seen in the text, either implicilty or explicitly.
Yes, but what did it mean for them to “come to Him”? They were brought to Him so He could touch them and bless them, not baptize them; which is what He did. Big difference between the two.

Again, nothing there that implies He forbids baptism of infants and children. Where can that be seen?

The scriptures make it unmistakably clear that baptism is unto repentance for the remission of sins:

This is often used as a last resort to show infant baptism is wrong; again, there is nothing there that indicates any objection to it. Since baptism would be repentance and remission of sins, then would baptism of the dead make any sense? See, it goes back to that, and ironically what you just stated goes against it. There is more likelihood for an infant to have repentance through his parents and a remission of sins, since he is alive, than for someone who is dead who cannot take advantage of those graces. For one, a dead person is already in God’s Judgment; how then can baptism be of any use to him since he is beyond repentance and remission of sins? See, now you will have to make baptism of the dead work by what you posted there.
Little children cannot fulfil any of these requirenents for baptism.
As I’ve pointed out, and the dead can?

Just as KOLOB is surrounded by a spirit world, Mormon Theologians imagine that the Earth, too, is surrounded by a spirit world. The earth’s spirit world is the home of dead people, in limbo for now, who await transport back to KOLOB, (via some other stops along the way (diagram).

Wonderful diagram. It is all so clear to me now, not.😃

But I see two planets- one is Kolob and one Kulub. It says “Your planet Kulub”. What is the difference? Is it that “hypocrits” go to Kolob and “hypocrats” go to Kulub? Kuul.👍

Eureka! I knew it! you are speaking in reformed egyptian!
I suppose you have to be pretty “iliterate” to know that “hypocracy” is not a word. At least not a word in English.
So were you meaning to say “Thou hypocrit!” in English or were tyring I mean tiring I mean trying to say “Thou Hypocrat!” in reformed reformed Egyptian?
Okay, I was typing too fast; so what?

You are both going our of your minds! 👋

zerinus

now a hyporcite is : *a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives *

what you have described in your post is not hypocrisy or a hypocrite
Karin If you re read the posts he wrote you will see that he is not discussing hypocrisy but hypocracy. That makes me in reformed Egyptian “Thou hypocrat!”. This may be why you and zerinius, as they said in Cool Hand Luke “have a failure to communicate.”

Okay, I was typing too fast; so what? not a biggy Z

once again…not us but if we point out that your definitions of words are incorrect dont get mad or insult…just buy yourself a good dictionary…that should help you out:p

oh silly me…reformed egyptian:eek: what the heck is that some made up language ??
Here I thought Z just couldnt spell now I see that Z has his own made up language to boot 😃 God help us…how will we ever be able to communicate with him???
So where do I get a reformed egyptian dictionary so I can communicate with Z…the angel Moroni?

I guess this must be your reformed Hebrew, yes? I noticed that you have since edited it out, but I caught you too quick my friend.

zerinus
Hey zerinus- if hypocrits go to Kolob, and hypocrats go to Kulub, where do Democrats go?

so now baptised dead people are GODS:D
WOW … .
If they are lucky. Mormons believe that if they are worthy, they will become gods of their own planets after their deaths and with the eternal marriages sealed in the temple, they will make spirit babies for eternity. They don’t believe in a God that has existed for eternity.

Joseph Smith claimed that the golden plates given to him by the angel moroni were written in “reformed Egyptian”. This language actually never existed. But Mormon students continue efforts to study it.

Is that in Mormon theology that you, Zerinus, will sit with Joseph Smith, Jesus and Elohim at the Final Judgment?
maybe this is the NEW, YET REVISED AGAIN version
or wait could this be a NEW REVELATION that President Hinkley recieved:rotfl:

Because the Lord has commanded us not to! 🙂

zerinus
That’s not really an answer. That’s an evasion.

I’m looking for a logical reason why not.

Explaining that God told you not to is, for one thing, wrong.

Jesus himself said to let the little children come to him, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Explaing that God told you not to is, for another thing, not even justifiable within any Jewish context, since even the Israelites consecrated their male babies on the eighth day through circmucision for example.

So, again I ask, why not?
