Am pointing out to you that I just gave this thread a five star rating only to demonstrate how ratings can LIE. Will be taking back this lie in a minute (when this happens, you might see it drop to four).

The swimming pool in the image is only big enough to wash a pet in. For an expensive house like that, one would expect a swimming pool at least three times the size. Also could do with some rugs. I’d be slipping around like a baby penguin on ice.
 
I don’t see what the problem is. If you don’t like a thread, don’t post in it. If you think it doesn’t belong here, report it. 🤷 It’s not that complicated.

Exactly. I think many of the threads in the news forum are not for me, so I just don’t go there. I don’t go pick a fight with the person that posted it.

Oh, a slippy penguin!

I looked at some of the other homes on that link… I don’t see their appeal honestly. 😊
I would rather use all that money for something else.

Her house didn’t do much for me either. It seemed too cold. Didn’t seem very warm.
She probably paid someone to decorate it for her.

I thought the swimming pool was quite nice in the ‘fishing reel’ designed building. While the rest of the inside was a bit too Flintstones.

Overall, they look more like hotels, than homes.

I think that with a lot of money, little sense can follow.

Tempted to stick the rating back up to five for reasons of aggressive if not slightly insincere promotional tactics to see if you can make this thread go to TEN pages. Imagine.

The stacked-stone effect in the house is not to my taste - a bit too sea-sidey/coral.
 
Perhaps we should pass the hat – everyone chip in and we’ll make an offer. If we get the house, we use it as a time share.
