Ah yes, people must be stupid or ill informed because they don’t agree with you.
Hey, I’m not the one going into a religious forum claiming to be an atheist or for that matter, nice, and claiming people are entertaining fantasies. Who said that? We all should take a look in the mirror, so read your words.Ah yes, people must be stupid or ill informed because they don’t agree with you
So, guilty until proven innocent…All people who say we believe her, are ready to revise their opinions should exculpatory facts emerge.
There’s more evidence to support it than there is to support Ford’s accusations against Kavanaugh. There is not evidence to support that accusation.
Are you denying that the mainstream media ill-informs the people? Even the vast majority of the people says they do.Ah yes, people must be stupid or ill informed because they don’t agree with you.
So the “wouldn’t vote for Kavanaugh” segment are not so much ill-informed but are more a function of the 34% who are unsure about the charges and not yet willing to express a vote for Kananaugh without assurance. That would seem to represent a good number who just wish to be completely fair.More voters believe Ford’s claims than Kavanaugh’s denials by a 6-point margin, 36 vs. 30 percent. However, about one-third, 34 percent, are unsure who is telling the truth.
It actually is, so maybe google it. .But we know basically, that this is not in the interest of the FBI, it’s not their jurisdiction.
But you don’t know that, and neither do I. This is why investigations are so important because the FBI has the resources to possibly find out. If there’s no there there, he’ll likely be confirmed. Now they are being used to discredit a man with a pattern of good performance and no pattern of abuse.
Yes we do, we have testimony from numerous female colleagues who worked both with and FOR him daily. Of high importance is that none of clerks over which he held power have suggested he was improper in his attitude or actions. We are talking about literally many thousands of hours of personal observation of his behavior. But you don’t know that, and neither do I. Hypothetically, just because a sexual assaulter might not do any assaulting to most doesn’t mean he didn’t do it to any. How many times do we hear in the t.v. news something like “I can’t believe he could do such a thing, as he seemed so nice”.Yes we do, we have testimony from numerous female colleagues who worked both with and FOR him daily. I’ve been wondering (from Australia) how American’s are reacting to this nonsense. This is a watershed moment in American politics.
Either the electorate will accede to political assassination being an acceptable strategy or the electorate will reject it completely.
If the Dems win in the mid-terms, clearly voters are fully on board with “whatever it takes to win.” If the Dems lose big time, malicious politics will have been soundly rejected.
I pray for the latter.
Americans will get what they ask for. They can incentivize this kind of hooliganism by rewarding it, or they will dis-incentivize it by throwing out the worst proponents of it, including the mainstream media and the entertainment, so-called, elites.
I think you mean to young to drink legally.Thirty six years ago is just too long to bring up anything other than a serious crime, especially if the alleged perpetrator was just 17 - too young to vote, too young to drink, a “minor” in many jurisdictions.
And she was 15. If he’s old enough to be responsible for the “crime” then she’s old enough to report it.Edmundus1581:![]()

The crime alleged was serious. His guilt or innocence of it is of paramount importance; if guilty of that crimes he is also guilty of lying about it even now.
Why are people so interested in sending a message to young boys that assault while shy of 18 years should be without consequences?
Are you seriously imagining some equivalence between perpetrators and victims? Are you sending a message to girls (and women) that they are less responsible for their actions than boys are?
what’s with your labels? Am I still a bed wetter, because I may have done it once as a child? I’ve said that his pattern of behavior as an adult is what matters for this position. Why do dems feel a non-adult transgression that contrasts years of adult behavior is of any relevance?Hypothetically, just because a sexual assaulter might not do any assaulting to most doesn’t mean he didn’t do it to any. Again, what’s the problem with letting the FBI investigate, which normally takes about 2-3 days on such matters. Even if it took a week, what’s the problem. [notice the absence of a question mark as there simply is no problem if one really wants to seek out the truth]
Sorry, but I think Judge Moore was just smeared. I find it incredulous to believe that the behavior he was accused of would be tolerated in small-town America or so long.I could understand the push back against Moore, since allegations against him were when he was an adult and there seemed to be a pattern of his undesirable behavior.
