Your first claim requires substantiation. Why not do some research on UNSUBSTANTIATED character assassinations in politics and see who is responsible for the vast majority.
You do it for me. I’m not inclined to.
Ah. There’s the answer.

Make an unfounded assertion and expect everyone to believe it without evidence.

There appears to be a pattern here.

The whole episode reminded me of the crowds that screamed for Jesus’ crucifixion in Pilate’s courtyard or that tried to stone the adulterous woman.
So, Judge Kavanaugh’s ordeal is now being compared to that of Jesus?
More than a mere comparison, there is an assurance…

Matthew 25:40 English Standard Version (ESV)

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ ~Jesus

If Kavanaugh is innocent then this is Jesus who is having this done to him.

 notwithstanding.

How is a US Court of Appeals judge from a privileged background “one of the least of these”?

I don’t think that people like Judge Kavanaugh are what Jesus was talking about in the passage you quoted.

Any rejected/weak/despised person is ‘the least of these’. In this case Judge Kavanaugh absolutely is. Jesus was telling us not to despise and treat as worthless people the world tells us to, per its values, as everyone is valuable to God. Also, anyone in need. There is no category of people in whom Christ is not. In every person we mistreat, there is Christ.

Compared to the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent God who is the fullness of Being Himself, a US Court of Appeals judge from a privileged background is indistinguishable from a lowly waif from the slums.

…those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. (Galatians 5:24-26)

No age limit with drinking water… oh wait!

This was hilarious. Damen was brilliant. But like all SNL skits for the past 30 years or so, it went on too long and got progressively less funny.

If you have seen Courage Under Fire then you know why he got to drink a lot more water!

I think the Democrats are trying to demoralize values-voters so that we don’t bother to take the time to vote in November 2018.

I find it difficult to believe that Kavanaugh participated in gang rapings going on at Catholic high school parties.

That is the most ridiculous accusation, I believe. Seriously, if this was a regular occurrence, there would have been a scandal a long time ago.

The FBI apparently is just double-checking the committee’s work

As I said to @Godfollower, it’s highly unlikely they’ll turn up something new. And Graham is right, if they don’t confirm Kavanaugh they’ll have destroyed him.

The people who are making these false allegations about gang rapes by or in the presence of Kavanaugh should be sued for libel. It is not right to have people going around ruining your reputation with lies.
Too many honest people have had their lives ruined by people making slanderous comments about them on the internet.

Except that this is basic Catholic teaching from year zero of the Church, explicitly stated by Paul. The Church is the body of Christ and Jesus is alive in his members. If one suffers, we all do. We share in the sufferings of Christ on the cross, and our suffering is his suffering.

I would take this very seriously, especially regarding the promotion of the unjust suffering of others.

I look for at least one good thing to come from this, especially after Lindsey Graham’s meltdown, that is that we stop calling liberals “snowflakes,” seeing that everyone has their sensitive points.

Kavanaugh is a prominent public figure, and that makes this kind of litigation really difficult. Further, he really can’t actually prove that the allegations are indeed false. Proving a negative is extraordinarily difficult, and since the accusation don’t include a specific time and place, only a decade and a county, it would seem impossible to prove innocence.

The real antagonists of Kavanaugh aren’t Swetnick and Ford, but instead Booker and Harris and Schumer who are talking about these allegation as if they are true and they really believe them. I really don’t think these sophisticated high-profile senators believe the allegations at all, but are only saying they do to promote their anti-life views.

Georgetown Prep is one of the capital area’s premiere secondary schools, many in Congress send their offspring there. Its silly to think that their top students are organizing drug fueled rape parties in private residences and no one is the wiser. If they would have dismissed the allegations at the start, it would have kept the politics out of the gutter.

BEFORE any of this came out, Kavanaugh was being persecuted for his Catholic views on Abortion, etc. Trump’s first justice isn’t Catholic and wasn’t put up against the same persecution.

So again - BEFORE any sexual assault charges came out, he was being attacked for having orthodox Catholic views on abortion, etc. The Dems started attacking him less than 24 hours after.

It was about abortion then, and it’s about abortion now.

So yes, assuming he’s innocent- Christ was talking about someone like Kavanaugh. But if he’s lying, God help him

I’ve heard stories about text messages, and they immediately changed my mind. Then I read a bit more and it seems like yet another thing media is twisting into something else. Text Messages Between Brett Kavanaugh and His Classmates Seem to Contradict His Senate Testimony If he already complained that he heard that Ramirez was shopping around their classmates and media asking them to remember the event and he thought it was a hit, I don’t see it as big a deal as I first thought. He first said New Yorker then he said the shopping thing he heard from classmates, so it seems like a mistake than perjury to me.
