I, for one, am given hope by the powerful and healthy messages that Kenya is sending out to the world, and I think I could be happy living there, when my obligations to family here in the States are done. We’ve forgotten what it’s like to love and serve God in America, and as much as my heart aches for love of my country, I want nothing to do with it if it’s going to disregard God in the manner that it has.

My blinders have long been off, and I’ll stay right where I am. Kenya, Russia, etal, …let’s just say I won’t be competing for any space there,
 
I can’t believe that no one has pointed out the obvious: Obama should really listen to the religious leadership of his home country. 😃
 
He has been. Unfortunately, the clergyman he’d been listening to was the infamous Jermiah Wright. Oh that’s right, he WASN’T listening to the man whom he called his “mentor”. :o Rob
 
Talking about danger, do you know who wants to destroy mankind more than anyone else since human beings are made after the image and likeness of God?

wise words indeed. I like these people that are standing up to Obama who wants to be king over everyone and spread his way the world should be according to Obama. our society is definitely being ruined.

First of all, they are not just President Obama’s ideas. Take a global poll. If you applaud their leaders, you applaud the hatred and persecution of gays that is replete in their country. Do you support the *criminalization *of homosexuality? Apparently, they do. We haven’t heard them decrying the false imprisonment of gays in Kenya now, have we?

Do you not know that the church always speaks against imprisonment of homosexuals? So I’m OK in supporting the church leaders in this respect. As for their political leadership, just because I agree that they told Obama off, it doesn’t mean I support imprisonment of homosexuals. Your logic is flawed, very simple.

You came off quite bigoted in that post, yes. I’m sorry, but people who don’t respect what developing countries have to offer to the world I find bigoted. 🤷

Where does the Church speak of their stance on the imprisonment of gays? When has Cardinal Njue spoken out? I’d like to support the Church in their position but I don’t know what it is!

I **asked **if you supported imprisonment: I did not say you did. I will take you at your word that you do not support the criminalization of homosexuality in Kenya. And my logic is just fine, thank you very much.

I’ve already asked you to tell me where in my post that I said that I did not “respect what developing countries have to offer to the world”. You did not answer me, leading one to believe that you can’t because it is untrue. Please don’t try to de-rail the thread by personal attacks on me. It is uncharitable and does nothing to enhance a decent discussion. If you have a real problem with my opinion, send me a pm.
