When I took mine (and dinosaurs roamed the earth) we were told jacket and tie. since then I’ve sometimes seen councils advise at least a collared shirt. Without giving anything away, I think that in addition to making you a respectable looking Catholic Gentleman, it gives you a place to hang a lapel pin.Going for my first degree next Wednesday and was wondering if there is a dress code?
Depending on A/C conditions, in summer months the dress code may be even more relaxed? I have never seen anyone turned away from a First Degree for dress code violation, but if you are worried you can always ask your sponsor.
