With due respect Dumspirospero, I think you may have been somewhat gullible to swallow a heretical website’s posting of these pictures without knowing whether they are true, or what the circumstances were behind it.
The picture with the scissors is obviously altered. Take a look at the gentleman holding the woman compared with the clarity of the rest of the picture. I have used editing software for photos and this is obviously a fake. Also look at the pic with Clinton … particularly his mouth showing signs of alteration. It is relatively easy to do a cut and paste with this software.
The picture of everyone praying with the handicapped person is not a mass, but a prayer service, perhaps a charismatic one where prayer is being offered for the sufferer with outstretched hands.
The picture of the hamster is no doubt a blessing for St. Francis’s feast day where typically children bring their pets. There is no proof a mass is taking place. I personally applaud the practice of blessing pets, but not in the sanctuary.
The halloween mass is not a Sunday liturgy, but most likely one with children. Odd, isn’t it … that someone just “happened” to be present and “happened” to have a camera to present it for all the world to gasp in horror at the sacrilege. I personally would not be in favor of it, either, but it is not the normal Sunday liturgy taking place in every parish … it is ONE isolated incident. I do recognize that these abuses have occurred and stated it many times already. Need I repeat it again?
How does this atypical stuff — IF true — represent the majority of Catholic parishes? Your argument is a red herring. If you truly loved the Church universal, you would not be posting these pictures. If you were truly “sick” as you say, you would never reveal them publicly. I know I wouldn’t even think of it!
This grandoise display to prove your point has done very little to convince me that the TLM is eminently superior, and the N.O. is abhorent.
