Sorry. Iā€™ve lost all interest in football. I used to love it dearly, but no more. Same goes true for Major League Baseball. Iā€™ll still go to minor leagues, but most professional sports have left a bad taste in my mouth.

I used to be a big fan of the other football (non American variety). I have also found it harder and harder to watch, just because I know how awful and spoilt the people involved with it are, and how much money they get for it (too much). I wonā€™t pretend I have suddenly lost interest in it completely, but Iā€™m definitely a lot less interested in it and do not go to any games. I might very occasionally watch one on television.

Donā€™t know if the NFL will see a full season

I hope so

I think the country needs football, even if itā€™s just on tv!

My beloved Patriots are also seeking seven. Though this will be an interesting year, to be sure. Both because of Brady leaving and because of COVID.

Let me start off by saying that I am a huge Ravens fan. A few years back, the Ravens traveled to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before the game began, they remained standing during the playing of God Save The Queen. But as soon as our National Anthem began, almost the entire team took a knee. I was flabbergasted. Does anyone else see the irony here? Our National Anthem was born right here in Baltimore during the bombardment of Fort McHenry. It was the British who were the ones bombing the daylights out of said fort. Enough said. I am still struggling to get over it. I still watch them, and the other NFL games, but Iā€™m not the diehard that I was.

As a Cardinals fan, Iā€™ll never forgive the Steelers for beating us in the Super Bowl back in 2009.

Ah yes. The Santonio Holmes catch! Incredible!!! And big Benā€™s throw was exceptional as well.

A bunch of millionaires, a number of whom have domestic abuse problems, playing a boysā€™ game in order to sell trucks and beer - as well as lecture us on civic responsibilities. Iā€™ll pass.

Those are a very few.

Most NFL players arenā€™t paid millions and nor have domestic abuse crimes in their lives.
