I have the Bengals over the Browns tonight. Jarvis Landry (Browns) is out; not that they have much of a QB to get the ball to him anyway.

It will be interesting to see how Joe Burrow does. I think heā€™s going to look good, but thatā€™s easy to do against the Browns.

What do you think about Brady? He didnā€™t do too well in his first game with the Buccs, but I hope itā€™s just the jitters and learning a new system.

Iā€™m not watching yet and still not sure if I will. If I do it will just be at the end of close games. It might be a good thing considering the NFL east is looking mediocre again. Cowboys lose. Giants lose. Eagles lose to Redskins.

So, what I learned last night:

Baker Mayfield continues to be incredibly over hyped

The Bengals defense doesnā€™t know how to tackle

Browns 35
Bengals 30

Burrows had pressure on him the entire game, but for a rookie, I think he did well and kept his composure. Didnā€™t make a lot of mistakes. Even Myles Garret (Browns) sort of complimented him in the post game interviews.

Yeah he has a good head on his shoulders and has the skill and arm talent to make the throws. With a better O-line and a couple seasons of experience (with training camp!) he will be an upper echelon QB. That drive he had at the end of the Charger game was really impressive and I only see him getting better.

Ugly win for the Steelers over the Broncos. It should not have been that close.

This continues to be a brutal first two weeks for injuries. The Giants Saquon Barkley may have torn his ACL.

Geesh guys, itā€™s still the hockey playoffs! After my Avs win the cup, THEN Iā€™ll worry about how bad the Broncos are! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
wait, are you suggesting that the playoffs continued after the Golden Knights were eliminated?

Who would of thunk it?

Iā€™m waiting for 40 minutes after scheduled start to tune into any football to avoid the politics . . .

I had the NFL package for a few years, courtesy of a friend who couldnā€™t get directv herself due to mountains. She paid for mine, and could log in and watch . . .

Anyway, I donā€™t have much use for football when itā€™s not liveā€“itā€™s altready happened at that point.

I stopped watching for a couple of seasons before he responded to the backlash for sitting on the bench with his snack by coming up with the kneeling thing . . . last season was first time in a while that I actually watched any games again (but never with the enthusiasm I used to have; my wife used to actually chase me off to the spors bar over it . . .)

ā€œYa might as well call this Steelers Defense ā€˜Governor Wolfā€™ - ā€˜Cause they shuttinā€™ everything dahn!ā€

That game was surprising. I guess the Raiders were all hyped up from playing in the ā€œDeath Starā€.

Lost a great one today. Chicago Bears legend Gale Sayers died at the age of 77

May God grant him blessed repose and eternal memory

Iā€™m just happy my cardinals seem to finally have a QB. Hopefully he turns out to be more Russell Wilson than RG3.
