It could be that most people consider it a classic. I know I do. 👍 “What hump?”

In a thinly disguised effort to bump this thread into visibility, here is my third list of 30 films (they’re getting harder to come up with, and if I don’t “love” all of these, I certainly like them a whole lot :)) :

A Knight’s Tale
Captains of the Clouds
The Day of the Jackal
Eat, Drink, Man, Woman
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Jim Carey playing completely against type)
Goodbye Mr. Chips (1969)

The Van (1996)

Definitely a modern classic movie that has gone unappreciated over the years:

1999’s Payback starring Mel Gibson

One of the best action movies of all time and also one of Gibson’s best performances:

amazon.com/Payback-Mel-Gibson/dp/B00000JDIQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/102-3409605-0740140?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1191861868&sr=8-2

Anyone’s here besides me who’s seen it?

A truly life-altering movie for me.

PS - Don’t get the awful recut “Straight Up” version from 2007. The original 1999 version is much better.

Last Supper (It has nothing to do with Jesus but is a good movie)
The Faculty

Haven’t seen it on TV of any kind in years and years. Now you have a reason to join Netflix 'cause they do have it. You could check it out during the free trial period!
I saw it on AMC or Scifi during one of their “creepy movie” lineups around Halloween a few years back. Ever notice that it’s on in the waiting room of the Oracle’s place in “Matrix”? Did that just make me sound like I play D&D in the basement of my mom’s house all day?

Nope, I’m thinking of Night of the Lepus. My mistake.
