He loves none of our abominable acts, however, including whether we claim we ‘can’t help ourselves’ (commit those acts), have some undeniable biological urge to commit bad acts, or tell God and others that we were “born” to commit bad acts.
Catholic theology proclaims that God does not have “categories” by which He loves whole segments of certain people more than other people. Rather, because He is a God of Mercy, he looks universally with affectionate pity upon all of us sinners who fall, regarding us as needing His corrective love.
