Just trying to give my take on an atheist’s paradise.

No threat…just saying what the bible states will happen if the free gift of salvation is rejected.

Yes actually it is a threat, even if many people have been trained not to take responsibility for their words.

And I have yet to see anything to accept other then what flawed humans claim.

this is the phrase at the bottome of your posts. “…as God gives us to see the right,…” means that God is in some way caring and knowing. This dosen’t quite fit deism.

Which means you are on the right track.

So far as single cell organisms developing without a brain…we are all proof that it happens everyday.

Proof? Theory. One little ameoba could not have gotten into its head that it was going to be a crocodile. It may have evolved into it eventually but it doesn’t have the capacity to do that.

If we evolved from lower animals, why do we have a gene for speech in our DNA which is totally lacking in other animals? Where did that come from?

This may be interesting from the realm of the physical. However, Darwinian concepts do nothing the explain the questions we have that are beyond the physical. Such as, we (humans) are the only ones that reason. Where does our understanding of natural laws derive? I have to support the school of philosophy that supports that these laws are discovered and not created.

Catholics can believe in evolution but that does not prove that God doesn’t exist. We still believe there is a Supreme Being that directs this.

Animals do communicate. My dog and cat have certainly taught us that. But they don’t have speech.

I don’t want to put words into Winterwolf’s mouth here, but are you really asking her or him to explain evolution to you? Really? Here on this thread?

Do you not have access to a library or the internet? No, wait, that can’t be right . . .

I would suggest that anyone in our modern age who wants to consider themselves well-educated should have an understanding of evolution. But you’re right that evolution does not disprove the existence of God.
