Six inch tusks.I’m kind of surprised a .38 did much more than make the hog mad. That’s a big freaking hog.
Yum!Church pig roast? Yee hah!
820 pounds? Holy cow! (I mean hog.)Six inch tusks.
A hog WILL eat you.
Since there were 3 shots, one must have been through the eye. I’ve seen what a feral hog can do to the land - not pretty.I’m kind of surprised a .38 did much more than make the hog mad. That’s a big freaking hog.
There was a tv show in Hawaii in which they took down feral hogs with a bow and arrow.Since there were 3 shots, one must have been through the eye. I’ve seen what a feral hog can do to the land - not pretty.
At 800+lbs, that meat is gonna take a long time to cook. Gonna need a backhoe to dig the roasting pit!
Ive never heard anyone that has ever cooked one of those wild hogs, so probably do not taste so good, if they did, I would think lots of hunters would be hunting them and then their numbers would decrease.Hmmm. I wonder if feral hogs taste as good as domesticated ones?
Kind of disgusting if you ask me.Since there were 3 shots, one must have been through the eye. I’ve seen what a feral hog can do to the land - not pretty.

I’ve never realized how dangerous even regular pigs can be until just recently.Six inch tusks.
A hog WILL eat you.
There are other hazards besides taste. Hogs can carry a number of human diseases and parasites. Among them is trichinosis, a deadly parasite. The pork one buys in the store is probably safe because domestic hogs are almost all raised in confinement now. Even so, one is advised to cook pork well. But a wild one would be very suspicious for trichinosis.Ive never heard anyone that has ever cooked one of those wild hogs, so probably do not taste so good, if they did, I would think lots of hunters would be hunting them and then their numbers would decrease.
I’ve had wild boar before. It’s pretty tasty, but I’m not sure it’s the same animal or a related type of animal.Hmmm. I wonder if feral hogs taste as good as domesticated ones?
…and absolutly tasteless. My brother raised some pigs which i helped butcher and got to keep a few cuts as a thank you. I was floored at how good it tasted. I will not buy the pork they sell in grocery stores any more.. The pork one buys in the store is probably safe
And definitely not kosher.Kind of disgusting if you ask me.
I understand they are hunted, but are pretty smart at hiding. And litters of piglets are quite large.Ive never heard anyone that has ever cooked one of those wild hogs, so probably do not taste so good, if they did, I would think lots of hunters would be hunting them and then their numbers would decrease.
