And then, the Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart must always be renewed. The Act of Consecration has been given in the form of locution by Our Lady and contains the elements which one must live in order to be part of this Movement.

** Essentially, every Consecration is good, but in order to be part of this Movement, one must make the Consecration which Our Lady has dictated, and which contains the three elements, that characterize its very existence and spiritually: (1) the commitment to live our baptism in the observance of
the commandments of God and in the practice of the Christian virtues; (2) the commitment to be united to the Pope and to the bishops and priests who are untied to the Pope, in order to remain always in the true Faith; (3) the> commitment to spread the cenacles, making known to the brothers and sister whom we meet, the beauty and the richness of this gift which the Immaculate Heart has given to the Church and to all humanity in these times.**

Must the cenacle take place in a church before the Blessed Sacrament? Can it take place in a private home?**

** FR. G: Of course, the cenacles can take place in a church; however, in
church the Rosary is prayed in front of the tabernacle.
**

** There are also family cenacles which are very important and which are spreading everywhere. Family cenacles take place at home, within a family; otherwise, they are no longer family cenacles.
One family can invite two or three more families which belong to the Movement to gather in one home; Invocation to the Holy Spirit, one part of the Rosary, prayer for the Pope, meditation of a message, and the Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart.**

Our Lady has made four promises to those who participate in these cenacles to the families, and also to the cenacles which take place in private homes. I hope that these family cenacles will spread also in the Unites States.
And the Promises are: **

(1) Our Lady will maintain the family united against divorce;

** (2) she will take the children under her protection;**

** (3) she will provide for the spiritual and material well-being of the family; and **

**(4) the cenacle will be the “lightning rod” which will protect them from the fire of chastisement.

** So, the family cenacles are held in private homes, and I truly wish that they will spread all over the United States in order to save the Christian family; because especially there, in the United States, with the legalization of divorce, of separation, of abortion, of extra-marital cohabitation and hopefully homosexuality is not yet legalized the family runs the risk of being completely destroyed.

** How many members are needed to form a cenacle?
**

** FR. G: Our Lady says that in order to form a cenacle, even two or three people are sufficient. The number is not relevant. What counts is intensity of prayer, the fraternity, the fact that we pray the Rosary with Mary; and then, of course, the Act of Consecration.**

Virgin of Fatima, Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Refuge of
Sinners, we who belong to the Marian Movement consecrate ourselves in a very special way to your Immaculate Heart.
By this Act of Consecration we intend to live with you and through you all the obligations assumed by our baptismal consecration. We further pledge to bring about in ourselves that interior conversion so urgently demanded by the Gospel, a conversion that will free us of every attachment to ourselves and to easy compromises with the world so that, like you we may be available only to do always the Will of the Father.
And as we resolves to entrust to you, O Mother most sweet and merciful, our life and vocation as Christians, that you may dispose of it according to your designs of salvation in this hour of decision that weighs upon the world, we pledge to love it according to your desires, especially as it pertains to a renewed spirit of prayer and penance, the fervent participation in the celebration of the Eucharist and in the works of the apostolate, the daily recitation of the Holy Rosary, and an austere manner of life in keeping with the Gospel, that shall be to all a good example of the observance of the law of God and the practice of the Christian virtues, especially that of purity.
We further promise you to be united with the Holy Father, with the hierarchy and with our priests, in order thus to set up a barrier to the growing confrontation directed against the Magisterium, that threatens the very foundation of the Church.
Under your protection, we want moreover to be apostles of this sorely needed unity of prayer and love for the Pope, on whom we invoke your special protection.
And lastly, insofar as is possible, we promise to lead those souls with whom we come in contact to a renewed devotion to you.
Mindful that atheism has caused shipwreck in the faith to a great number of the faithful, that desecration has entered into the holy temple of God, and that evil and sin are spreading more and more throughout the world, we make so bold as to lift our eyes trustingly to you, O Mother of Jesus and
our merciful and powerful Mother, and we invoke again today and await from you the salvation of all your children, O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

Our Blessed Mother Mary made the following promises to the family cenacles who consecrate themselves to Her Immaculate Heart:-

**She would safeguard the vows of unity and indissolubility of the married couples. **

**She would take care of their children in a hostile and difficult world. (Their young children, young adults, married children and grandchildren). **

**She would take care of the spiritual needs of the family and also the temporal needs, i.e. they wouldn’t have to look for what was necessary for their daily welfare and true dignity. **

**She would be like a lightning rod that would protect them from the fury of the devil, and save them from the eternal fires of hell. **

Fr Gobbi was asked by an official of the Vatican to drop the line in the introduction of the Blue Book that states that the message are locutions of the Virgin Mary and replace it with a line saying that they are meditations…

Fr. Gobbi feels in his heart they are locutions from Our Lady.

Fr. Gobbi believes he receives locutions from Our Lady.
Fr. Gobbi has said that in good conscience he could not deny what he believed to be true. From the beginning Fr. Gobbi has been under the care of a spiritual director, one who judged his locutions to be authentic.

Fr. Gobbi was asked in a letter from an official of the Vatican to refer to them as meditations or inspirations Though he is complying; seeking clarification of his responsibilities, he sought counsel from a higher authority in the Holy See and was assured that this letter was merely a request by the monsignor who wrote it and not an act of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

I am troubled by particular meditations/locutions but I know God does mitigate in favor of mercy due to our prayers, so for me the jury is still out.

I do find the readings to be inspiring, and the cenacle fellowship a good influence on my spiritual life. Praying the Rosary and consecrating oneself to Our Lady and striving to live a dedicated, devoted life in union with the Holy Father and the Magisterium can only help me to grow in the Spirit. My faith rests not on Fr. Gobbi but on Jesus Christ and I intent to be faithful to Him and use the means He has given us in the Church: the Eucharist, Penance, Magesterial teaching, Scripture, et al. If anythings fails to line up with that I have to reject it. Things like visions, locutions, apparitions take time to discern. I do believe in being cautious and vigilant. I appreciates this forum as a means of staying alert.

So then the only question that remains, what advantage is there following Father Gobbi? Instead of keeping abreast with his apocalyptical warnings, the type the Church clearly disproves, would one’s time not be better spent with an approved, hence proven devotion?

Praying with the Marian Movement of Priest doesn’t make me less devoted but more. My time each day is filled with devotion; daily Mass, time spent before our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, and tradional prayer. I’m trying to make the Liturgy of the Hours part of my daily prayer life. I try to remember the Lord’s presence with me and speak to Him from my heart while performing household things. As I drive I pray the Rosary along with a tape of our Holy Father in Latin. Just the sound of his voice humbles me and causes me joy. I try to pray while I post on this forum. This forum actually informs me and leads to good study and more spiritual reading. (Not enough hours in the day! Before I know it the day is over with an act of contrition.)

As for the Cenacle meeting of the Marian Movement of Priests, it is filled with traditional Catholic devotion; an invitation to the Holy Spirit, the Rosary, a prayer for a new Pentecost, a refrain of “O Sacrament, Most Holy”, Prayer to St. Michael, Prayer to defeat the work of Satan, Prayers for our Holy Father from the Roman Breviary and one from the Roman Missal, prayers from Fatima, the Angel’s Prayer and the Pardon Prayer, occassionally we pray the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and end with a consecration prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and singing a Marian hymn. The meditations of Father Gobbi are inspiring, full of beauty and insight. They encourage us to remain prayerful, humble, little children docile to the Holy Spirit, watchful and devoted to the Church and the magisterium and the Holy Father.

I asked the Monsignor of our very traditional, inspiring parish about the movement. He encouraged me and pointed to its Marian spirituality. He mentioned that many bishops and even cardinals are part of the movement and devotion to our Blessed Mother helps them in their priestly ministry.

The Marian Movement of Priests is not for everyone. Within the Church there are many spiritualities to help us walk with the Lord. At this time in my life, this time and this prayer lifts my spirit to God in a special way. This prayer time and these six beautiful women bless me. We all return home loving the Lord all the more and each other as sisters in Christ. Not a bad return for two hours of my time once a week.
 
The Roman Catholic Church has never officially recognized the interior locutions of Fr. Stefano Gobbi as being of a heavenly nature.

The alleged interior locutions of Fr. Stefano Gobbi are riddled with so many doctrinal errors, false prophecies and deceptions: that only a few extracts are being quoted from the book “To The Priests Our Lady’s Beloved Sons” to clearly show that these writings are not divinely inspired as alleged, but rather, they are Fr. Stefano Gobbi’s personal reflections. (If Fr. Gobbi wishes to maintain that the locutions are not his personal reflections, then it must be concluded that they are spiritual manifestation of a demonic nature because some of the locutions oppose the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church.)
  • On April 25, 1975, Our Lady told him, [See # 72(l)(m); 425(f), etc…] “The time will come when some of my priest-sons are preparing to openly oppose my Son, myself, the Pope and the Church.” I will then be no longer able to recognize them as my children; I myself will come down from heaven to place myself as the head of the cohort of my beloved sons, and I will crush their plots." "I am coming down from heaven."
Are we to believe for one moment, that to conquer the spiritual battle between Our Lady and Satan, that the Blessed Virgin Mary will come down from Heaven by manifesting herself in physical form to lead the physical army of Marian priests for the purpose of destroying Satan who has a spiritual body? This is an impossibility!

· On February 10, 1978, Our Lady told him, [See # 147(d)(e)] “Darkness will descend upon the Church and will become even more dense after your heavenly Mother has come to get the soul of the first of her beloved sons, Pope Paul VI, who is consummating on the cross his supreme sacrifice.” "As long as he lives, thanks to his grievous martyrdom, I can still hold back the arm of God’s justice. But after his death, ALL WILL COME CRASHING DOWN."

Pope Paul VI died in 1978. He was succeeded by Pope John-Paul I who also died in the same year, 1978. Now according to Fr. Gobbi, the Virgin Mary told him that starting with the Papacy of John-Paul I, the Catholic Church was supposed to come crashing down. Has it? No! Again, it is asked, did Jesus not say that the gates of Hades would not prevail against His Church? Not only is this false locution a false prophecy, but it also opposes the Sacred Promise of Jesus Christ.

· December 24, 1983, Our Lady told him, [See # 279(j)(k)] “Prepare yourselves for the return of Jesus in glory.” "His second birth is close at hand."

**· ****.**September 11, 1988, Our lady told him, [See # 389(d)(f)] “In the period of ten years, there will come to the completion that fullness of time which was pointed out to you by me, beginning with La Salette all the way to my most recent and present apparitions.” “In the period of ten years, there will come to the completion the time of the great tribulation, which has been foretold to you in Holy Scripture, before the second coming of Jesus.” According to Fr. Stefano Gobbi, September 11, 1998, was supposed to see the completion of all of Mary’s promises that have been given to the world since the days of La Salette, including all the promises that she gave to Fr. Gobbi himself, that including the Second Coming of Jesus. As previously mentioned, the Holy Catholic Church refers to this Second Coming as the Antichrist’s deception. We do not have to look far for proof of the deception. 1998 came and went - nothing happened. As a general rule, Church approved spiritual manifestations reflect a HONEST Virgin Mary. When she says she will give a sign, she gives it, such as the dancing sun in Fatima on October 13, 1917. The problem that we have here is that the Virgin Mary that Fr. Gobbi knows is one that lies, that makes broken promises, that contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church, etc… That is not the Virgin Mary that the Holy Catholic Church promotes, nor is it the Mother of God, nor the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

· June 17, 1989, Our Lady told him, [See # 407(p)] “666 indicated thrice, that is to say, for the third time, expresses the year 1998, nineteen hundred and ninety-eight. In this period of history, Freemasonry, assisted by its ecclesiastical form, will succeed in its great design: that of setting up an idol to put in the place of Christ and of his Church. A false christ and a false church.”

Fr. Stefano Gobbi alleged that the Blessed Virgin Mary, she who is immaculate in nature and from who no lies can come forth, has stated that my year 1998, the Holy Catholic Church would be a false Church, having been overtaken by a false christ.

**There are a few problems with this interior locution, namely: **
**1. It never happened. **
**2. The Virgin Mary does not lie. **
3. False prophecies do not come from God, nor are they heavenly inspired.
  1. Such a statement serves no other purpose but to corrupt the faith of the believers, leading them to believe that the Holy Catholic Church has been overtaken by a false christ who is managing a false church. As such, it encourages the faithful to disobey the God appointed authorities of the Holy Catholic Church and the inspired teachings of the Church.

Enjoyed reading some of this discussion. For some the line between “Private Revelation,” and “Public Revelation” is very thin. Jesus is the last public revelation. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I do not follow the MMP or Fr Gobbi, I find a lot in it that bothers me.

That being said, he and his meditations have not been condemned so you are free to believe in them all you wish. I will add that Fr Gobbi has been directed to call them meditation and not locutions, which he has done. I would say that his followers should follow his lead in this as well.

I know of many who love to talk about the fruit of certain apparations and of Fr Gobbi’s meditations. All I would say is that if it works for you good but keep in mind that others might experience bad fruit. I can think of many that have come from other apparitions that have been condemned even though some claim that they are real.

And you could have learned all of this and do all of it with out following apparations/meditations that have yet to be approved.

This has can be found in the fully revealed public revelation, you need not turn to private revelations to find this sort of thing.

That is my main point, it seems that many turn to private revelation when there is much they do not know and have not read that is part of the public Deposit of Faith.

Our Heavenly Mother has been coming to us for over a 100 years warning us that we are on the wrong road…

Take a look at the world today …Is the world living for God ? Look at the Priesthood, is it as Holy as it should be ? Are we living the Public Revalation of the Gospel ?

Mother came to Fr Gobbi in another way to form Her army of Priest Warriors that are in union with the Holy Father, and we the layity are invited also to join the spiritual warfare taking place.

Your right Her message never changes …pray, fasting and penance …Are we doing it …? 😦 Not just on the Fridays of Lent…

This is precisely the reason why I stopped bothering myself with Fr. Gobbi.

"Come aside and rest awhile.”
We are invited by our Blessed Mother to come and take a rest from our labors. Many are the crosses that we have carried in the past year. The spirituality of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is that we come aside and take a rest from all the activities of our priestly activities.
**These spiritual exercises are especially planned. Why? They remain most important for our priestly life. There is an important task that Our Lady has given to each of us. A great task has been entrusted to each of us. **
**Why did Our Lady form this Movement? What is she asking of us individually? What is she asking personally? The times have arrived. Why have many fallen away and abandoned the Movement? **
We are invited to live in peace. Jesus Christ gives us this peace.
**What are we before God? We are nothing. We are filled with misery. We are like St. Therese of Lisieux, the little Carmelite. We remain weak and little. **
**We are to learn from Jesus Christ, who calls us to come and rest awhile. “Come to me all you who labor and I will give you rest.” Jesus is the place of our rest. We are his priests. **
**Jesus is the fount of Mercy. We are called to be merciful, especially in these very difficult times, times of great infidelities in the Church. **
**Our Blessed Mother places us in her Immaculate Heart and applies balm on our wounds. **

First Meditation: Monday, June 30, 2003

We are called to rest.
**This is a special year dedicated to the Holy Rosary as publicly declared by the Holy Father as the “Year of the Rosary”. And I say and stress that this is the year of the Cenacle, which we have been holding this since the Movement began. **
In the message of May 30, 1993 (# 496d), Our Lady specifically asks that we multiply the cenacles of prayer, which she has asked for with motherly insistence.
This is the time of the great tribulation. This is the time of cenacles. It is the time to enter into the Immaculate Heart.
**As Mother, she teaches us how to pray. In the message of May 30, 1993, (# 496j), Our Lady speaks to us of the purpose of the cenacles, which is primarily to help us walk along the most difficult and painful segment of the Advent of the 2nd Pentecost. She speaks of the Fire of the 2nd Pentecost, brought about by trial and suffering. The Holy Spirit will come down to bring the purification in the sadness of a divided Church. In the great trials of the present, the Holy Spirit will bring comfort. **
**We are to have trust and courage. Come Holy Spirit. Come quickly in this time of trial. **
**In the message on the Feast of Pentecost, 1993, Our Lady speaks to us of the great trial which has arrived. “This decisive time of the purification and the great tribulation is the time of the Holy Spirit.” (#496d) The Holy Father has declared this year as the “Year of the Holy Rosary”, in order that humanity and the Church may be strengthened. Suffering has intensified. In the midst of this trial, we will come out of this crisis. **
**At the beginning of the Millennium with the events of Sept. 11th, many violent events have unfolded. Many difficulties remain on the horizon of the world. Only an intervention from on high can bring us hope. Many are the difficulties which can be changed. The Rosary can change everything. **
The Holy Father worries about the crisis in the Church. Christianity is strengthened by the Rosary. The Crusades and the event of Lepanto is an analogous situation.
**Have the bishops accepted this? There is division. The Holy Father is opposed and not listened to. This great Pope is losing ground not because he is too weak, but simply because he is not followed and listened to (as mentioned in an article published in an Italian newspaper regarding this great pope). **
**An examination of conscience must be made. The great trial is a merciful punishment. God is Love. He permits punishment in order that humanity may return to a greater good. Humanity brings about its own punishment and could end up in ruins. Are we on the road to destruction? **
Humanity is the victim of materialism, idols, pleasure, and pride. Impurity has seduced all of humanity through various means, TV. etc. There are millions of abortions taking place each year throughout the world. There is the loss of awareness of the sanctity of life. There is a great loss of respect for life. We are truly in a desert of love. Yet, we are called to love in this desert.
**God is, above all, “Communion.” The spirit of disunity is the spirit of Satan. There is great division among nations. The outcome is terrorism. Humanity is under the power of evil. The communion of God is trampled and violated. Individual and social sin needs to be straightened out. **
**Sunday has become a day of sports, entertainment. Cohabitation is a way of life. Sexuality is a relative value. Sin continues to be justified. Contraception and all aberrations are accepted. Today, Satan dominates in the fullest of his power. Humanity lives in opposition to God. Satan has set up this opposition. **
In the Gospel, there is the story of the separation of the wheat from the chaff. Mary helps us in our maturity as we experience our human weakness.
**Jesus asks the question: “Do you wish to live in the Immaculate Heart of Mary?” There is power in the refuge of her Immaculate Heart. **

**Our Lady today calls for a powerful army. The Masons have entered into the inner sanctuary of the Church, and we are living in the mystery of Iniquity. In the biblical visions, there is the image of the great Dragon, to which Our Lady refers. In Genesis, the Dragon appears to Adam and Eve as a snake in order to seduce and bring about the Fall. The Dragon appears to Jesus in the desert to seduce Him, who is the Son of God. **
**Satan comes as the great seducer, whom Jesus rejects during the temptations in the desert. Today, the great Dragon comes again to seduce. **
**In Fatima, on the 13th of May, a sign appears in the heavens. There, is witnessed the great struggle between good and evil. **
**Humanity is on the road to complete destruction. We have had 2 great wars. Terrorism, abortions, etc. constitute sins. Satan wants to destroy humanity. He is the expert as the great seducer. He is the one who kills. He is the patron of all magicians. St. Paul in his 2nd Corinthians relates to the fact that Satan makes sin appear as a good. Evil is justified. The violation of the Law of God is taught as a liberty and an emancipation. There is confusion and crisis worldwide. **
What can the Father do? We are living in the Mystery of Iniquity. What can Jesus do? We have the story of the lost sheep.
Our Lady’s messages are not listened to. We need a great act of mercy. God entrusts this act of Mercy to Our Lady of Mercy.
Satan will eventually be shamed and humiliated. A creature will defeat him. Mary is the daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. She is the conqueror par excellence.
**The MMP is designed for the little ones. This army is designated to fight the powerful army of Satan. Mary shall be victorious.
 
**2nd Meditation: Monday afternoon, June 30th

**No one can come to the Father except that he be drawn by Him. The Father must open the way. It pleases Him to call upon the little ones. Because to them is entrusted Wisdom, which is kept from the learned and the wise of this world. **

**The Dragon appears as the great power, the clever one. He despises the little ones. He can appear to win through the power of the great ones. Read the message on the Beast in the section on Ecclesiastical Masonry (# 406). There is a lamentable condition in the Church. **

**In the apparitions of May 13th, 1917, at Fatima, the “Woman Clothed with the Sun”, comes seeking the little ones. Her army is formed. Our Lady establishes her Movement and looks for the little ones. They are gifts from God. Jesus praises the Father for having kept from the wise of this world that which He gives to little ones. Our Lady looks for little ones, the simple and docile. There is a special grace given to little ones. Our Lady will defeat the great with the little. Do not be discouraged by the rich, the gifted, bishops, cardinals, theologians. We must love them, for they are given to us. Don’t be surprised if they do not understand. The MMP is for the little ones. It is “littleness” that counts. It means being nothing before God. **

**“I have chosen you because of your nothingness.” Before God, we are nothing. **

**Nothing can destroy the MMP. Satan attacks the Movement by attempting to destroy its littleness. He attacks its humility. Many brothers have abandoned the Movement because they were annoyed by its littleness. We may come to doubt because we cannot always see its accomplishments. **
