I just want to say again how rewarding and insightful this conversation has been. I hope that others living a similar experience learn a little something. I know I have.
Bless you all.
Bless you all.
Sometimes we must take a risk to be happy and it’s worth it in the end.runwaymodel, thanks for starting this thread, and thanks all others for many things what to think about. This discussion helped me a lot. Like runwaymodel, it isn’t time (yet) for marriage, but i don’t want to date someone who i definetly don’t want to be father of my childrens.
I’m 25, and my dear is nearly 50. And I think, I want to risk. We are both adults, he never doesn’t act like my dad and IMO i can understand, why isn’t he married and don’t have any childrens. It’s not so easy, to find a man, with whom is easy to be together, who i can imagine as my lifemate, we build on each other, why throw it away just because he is much older?
P.S. I’m sorry about my mistakes, English isn’t my native language.
I am very happy to hear that this thread has helped you. Being with someone will never be 100% perfect. For me, age wasn’t a deal breaker but it would have possessed some challenges however, I am now more convinced than ever that it can be done. Its kind of funny to think when I was younger and how I envisioned my darling to look like, but the heart wants what it wants. You can’t plan who you fall in love with.runwaymodel, thanks for starting this thread, and thanks all others for many things what to think about. This discussion helped me a lot.
