I think Mary did die and is buried in a grave.

I have read in “The Kerala Church” by Antony Nirappel,
Changanacherry Kerala, India and I quote:

Holger Kerston, a German research Scholar, also is said to have mentioned in his book “Jesus Lived in India” that Mary died and is buried in Murree:

There is also much historical truth in the towns and villages of Northern India to prove that Jesus and his mother Mary spent time in the area. For instance, at the border of a small town called Mari, there is nearby a mountain called Pindi Point, upon which is an old tomb called Mai Mari da Asthan or “The final resting place of Mary”.

The tomb is said to be very old and local Muslims venerate it as the grave of Issa’s (ie Christ’s) Mother.

The tomb itself is oriented East-West consistent with the Jewish tradition, despite the fact it is within a Muslim area. Assuming its antiquity, such a tomb could not be Hindu either since the Hindus contemporary to Christ cremated their dead and scattered their ashes as do Hindus today.

Why is it The Theotokos and the Lord can be abused on a Catholic website without pause from these muslims? The topic was not even posted as a question but a fact but some muslim. I can understand having a Non-Catholic Religion forum but its crazy when these muslims come here and insult the Church without ramifications!

Well, I don’t particularly mind them as much, since they provide some entertainment. Amazingly it strengthens my faith; I almost felt like I was guided to look at them and go,

“Look at the loopholes!!! See! I am right and fortunate to choose the right religion.”

On the flip side, they “meant well” too. It must have hurt them alot to see us so “stubborn” about our beliefs despite their kindness to show us the “truth”.

I would understand it if they engaged in conversion but they don’t. Ask them questions and they respond with the same old tired nonsense that has nothing to do with the question asked. Hell the other day I was chatting with Planton and he said he was upset that Christians distort things about Jesus and make evil accusations about him. I said mohammad was a genocidal, pedophile who was really a pagan and worshiped a rock. I asked him to refute this with islamic texts and also to back up his claim about Jesus. He just said I took the koran out of context and said that Jesus allowed a woman to wipe his feet with her hair. I almost fell off my seat when I read this. Jesus shows a woman compassion and in these warped muslim minds its evil. Of course he never defended his claims.

I guess I just do not see the point of allowing these guys (and girls) to post if there here for the only one reason and that is to insult God and his Mother! I see no evidence that they are here for any other reason. They are not here to learn about the Catholic faith only to tear it down and its allowed. Would this be allowed on a muslim site? Of course not the same as muslims build their mosques in the west but do not allow it in their own countries. I love it that Russian will not allow saudi arabia to build a church in Moscow unless saudi arabia allows a Church in their capital. The more we give these people the more they will take!

How about this…show us the graves, both of the Blessed Virgin and of Jesus that you claim are in India. Allow us to remove the bodies and destroy them for genetic and other testing. Then we might know. WHen they do not match your claims, will you stop being Muslim?

Further, allow us unlimited access into the Kabaala and allow us to test everything in there. When it does not date from the time of Abraham, will you stop being Muslim?

Allow us to examin any old forms of the Qur’an. WHen they do not match up with the modern ones, will you stop being Muslim?

Didn’t a new age person with the last name Prophet make the same claim? Historical traces bring us to Turkey as the final place of Mary on Earth. Now you can argue whether Mary was resurrected and assumed after her death or that she was buried but the logical place for Mary to have gone was Turkey rather than India. Turkey for a long time was the population center for christians.

I would just like to point out the Christians are persecuted in every single country that has a muslim majority. Every time the wind blows in the wrong direction in Egypt the muslims rampage through the streets of Coptic towns raping and killing them. Turkey (aka occupied Greece!) is down to less than 5000 Greeks in their own country. The point is muslims persecute, that’s what they do. They persecute anyone they perceive different when they get the majority. I would imagine the ahmadi would do the same if they were the majority and had a small sunni, shiite, Christian, etc… living in their country.

I love it when non-Catholics come onto CAF and try to correct our beliefs, or tell us we believe in things which are alien to Catholicism, or demand the Church to change her ways because they’re seen as evil or counter-cultural. It gives me one reason to pray the Fatima Offering: “O Jesus, it is for the love of You, in reparation for the offences committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners.”

He came here because he wants to share his beliefs. He doesn’t go off about how the Church is evil or anything like that. Besides, if you find Paarsurrey offensive (and Muslims), why don’t you find Protestants and Jews offensive? Or is it just bigotry?

You know nothing about the ahmadis, do you? Oh, and if Turkey, which has been Turkish for hundreds of years now, is occupied Greece, than that part of Greece was occupied Scythia back when the Greeks had it.
