Could you please expain the tradition of not eating meat on Fridays and why it was changed?
I could, but it would be off topic in the thread, just like your very good question above about the elements used in communion. These are also well covered in the library, just use the link and type in your question.
I would conclude that my understanding is deficient.
- What if, after studying, you come to a conclusion that something taught by the CC is not exactly correct?
for example, you asked another very good question above…Did God die? No, but then, Jesus is God, and Jesus died. It is a profound mystery that is beyond my capability to grasp, like the trinity.
Well, it happens to me alot!

Study of errors is also important, so they are not repeated.
That is not what I meant by decades of study. In fact, I am not aware of any Catholics, or any Apologists or any members here at CAF that meet that definition.
