I thought I would take more time and see what Masons in Wisconsin are taught regarding religion and their official position. Here is the official version of what John Salza was taught;

This is from the Wisconsin Masonic handbook, as you are aware that Grand Lodge decided what the official position will be and no one else for that jurisdiction. As you can see it makes no claims of being a religion so theology, doctrine and dogma are outside of its function. Or as it is officially stated “the Craft’s only purpose is to help make good men better and that it supports its members in their religious faith”, further stated officially ( wisc-freemasonry.org/wi-freemasonry/ ) “Therefore … I believe that freedom of religion is an inalienable human right and tolerance an indispensable trait of human character, I will stand in my lodge with Brothers of all faiths, and respect their belief, as they respect mine”. Did you notice it does not say agree only respect.
I took some time to see just what John’s former Grand Lodge position is on religion and theology, as I expected it does not have one.
BTW… I did find this site interesting catholicintl.com/catholicissues/salzafm.pdf
