I don’t understand them. Constantly repeating the same thing over and over again leads to mental fatigue and lethargy.

Besides the rosary was invented about 1000 years or so after Jesus. I don’t see the relevency in christianity.
Following your logic on the rosary being invented 1000 yrs or so after jesus…then the protestant bible (66 book) should be rejected too…it was invented only by protestants in the 1800s or so…🤷

Same with altar calls…sinner’s prayer…no Liturgy of the Eucharist…where do you want to stop rejecting everything invented by protestants after the 1500s…???🤷

Indeed. Not to mention weddings on beaches, steeples on churches, Bible studies, worship bands up on a stage with a big screen TV, wedding rings, organs in churches…

Add symbolic baptism and baptism at the age of reason to the recent man made invention. The apostolic faith, Catholic and Orthodox for 2000 years teaches sacramental baptism and infant baptism.

John Calvin hated that Catholics (or “papists”) used organs in Church:

“To sing the praises of God upon the harp and psaltery… are not now to be used in public thanksgiving… We are to remember that the worship of God was never understood to consist in such outward service [such as using instruments in church] , which were only necessary to help forward a people as yet weak and rude in knowledge in the spiritual worship of God [speaking of the Levites in the Old Testament]… it appears that the Papists, as I shall have occasion to show elsewhere, in employing instrumental music cannot be said so much to imitate the practice of God’s ancient people as to ape it in a senseless and absurd manner, exhibiting a silly delight in that worship of the Old Testament which was figurative and terminated with the gospel.” (Source)

All “sola scriptura” folks should agree with Calvin - no hymns, no instruments, only Psalms sung in church.

Still, this is how they worship at the Baptist church down the street.

They all are! And they don’t even have to agree with each other!

Like violating the bible itself by privately interpreting it.
