Indeed.The media has been manipulating the news,going at least as far back as Thomas Jefferson’s time.He actually wrote something calling the press putrid and that if one avoided the press entirely,they would actually be better informed than if they bothered to read the news. So the more things change the more they stay the same it seems.

Of course, I think it outrageous; there is considerable bipartisan agreement on that. If you think this, and moreover think that this is is the kind of thing the POTUS should say, great.
It has been noted that many Presidents, Obama back to Jefferson, have called the press out for perceptions of unfairness. None before have called them ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. We can hope that this is just more empty rhetoric from Trump, but have to be on guard if it isn’t.

Oh the media can continue business as usual for all I care.I just don’t have to buy into and hang on their very word.as gospel. It is incumbent upon all of us to weed through the biases’ and discern the truth through all the muck.
So long as that includes the biases of the right as well as those of the left.
Not saying there are not biases’ on the right,however considering the media as a whole,the biases’ clearly would lean in favor of the left as there are disproportionately more left leaning news outlets,

That should tell you something re the market demand for Conservative radio.Thirty some years ago when Rush Limbaugh came on the talk circuit,I remember my husband telling me,“Finally someone saying the things I have felt for years!” We have a voice after being marginalized by the left leaning media. The rest is history so to speak.I know there were a few liberal left talk shows,they never thrived because their message wasn’t resonating with thevAmerican listening audience.
Just from general observation it appears the left has dominated the landscape (at least in a broader spectrum) more than the conservative voice;
MOST planned parenthood clinics are in poor neighborhoods. They do what Margaret Sanger was all about. Reducing or elimination in her view as a racist and eugenicist, populations of those she considers, undesirables.
Where is even a sense of proportion in that response?
for the record, I’m not defending this on “my personal perspective”. It’s the perspective of The Catholic Church, scripture, and Sacred Tradition. I’m just echoing that perspective

Not at all. I just don’t know what you want? Right wing media exists (Fox is #1 fyi). The rest of the media reflect cultural and societal norms, and do not represent a left/right swing.
