HBO edited reruns in syndication. What do you call prime time television programs like “sex in the city?”

Now if they sold sushi…You know I love ya, but I completely disagree with your assessment of McDonald’s food. Supersize Me might just as well have been made my Michael Moore!
Besides, it’s not meant to be eaten three times a day, every day! Hello! Personal responsibility, party of one! And you can’t equate serving a simple little burger with the sin of homosexuality.
Well, maybe some people can, but…
That movie looks great, I need to order it.This is the type of acceptance the groups are looking for, some Christian sects follow it and more are each day.

It is an outstanding movie everyone should watch. I saw it a month or so ago and it was very well done to toss all stereotypes away.

It NOT kindness to spread discrimnation or support it. You might to want to re-read my posts on what the catechism teaches on this subject instead of picking out what you want to use as an excuse to be rude. There is no room in the Church for bigotry. There is a difference between pointing out sin as a Catholic and just being a plain bigot.Whether you keep it in the bedroom or not, in the closet or not, homosexuality is still a mortal sin. You are putting your ‘loved one’s’ soul in jeopardy as well as your own.
Once more, it is NOT kindness nor charity to confirm a sinner in his sin.
homophobia of the worse kindExactly, WND articles posted here by a now moderated member are quite deviance and full of homophobia of the worst kind. As a source, WND takes extreme stances in their flame-inducing arguments.
Homosexuals are called to celibacy. I know the church’s teachings. It NOT kindness to spread discrimnation or support it. Because the marriage/spiritual union has not opened for them yet. That is a chicken/egg argument. There is no subversion going on.Homosexuals are called to celibacy. I know the church’s teachings.
I am not afraid of homosexuals. I am afraid for them, and for the vulnerable and confused young people they are actively trying to subvert.
Well, WND is not a Catholic publication, but one that follows a political agenda, their stances speak out to a subset of the population.homophobia of the worse kindI’m actually shocked. Are we in the same Church?
Excuse me???The “called to celibacy” argument is a way to sweep it under the carpet and not acknowledge it exists.![]()
As this thread is about same-gender relationships, that is what is about. Yet while different-gender relationships have the option of legal lifelong unions, same-gender ones do not. Most want a lifelong, monogamous relationship (with its ups and downs like different-gender relationships). That option is not available now and is being fought against by many for illogical reasons. They would not have to be celeblite until marriage until they have the option (at least from the state and federal government). Allow them legal unions and then sex outside of marriage would not be a scandal.Excuse me???
I’m a single Catholic woman. It hasn’t been in God’s will and timing for me to be married yet.
I AM CALLED TO CELIBACY.
Everyone who is not in a marriage between one man and one woman IS CALLED TO CELIBACY!
New Ulm, your profile here says that you are Catholic. You are not in agreement with the Catholic Church in what you espouse here in the forums.
If you haven’t read Good News for Sex and Marriage, by Christopher West. I highly recommend it to you. Your profile says you are a life long Catholic, yet you are lacking in some basic Catholic teaching on sexuality. I don’t fault you for it, you are not alone.

Here is a good resource for Catholics struggling with SSA.
WHY MUST anyones sexual desires be in my face-both “sides” are equally in my face and it is getting to be quite annoyingWhy can’t heterosexuals keep it in the bedroom?
Why must heterosexuals be in my face?
Why must **your ** children have to see it?
I DO NOT have that “option.” Unless someone wants to marry me, I will and will remain a SINGLE Catholic woman. I am called to celibacy until I die.As this thread is about same-gender relationships, that is what is about. Yet while **different-gender relationships have the option of legal lifelong unions, **same-gender ones do not. .
It is perfectly legal to fire someone for being transsexual in my current state.May I ask how the lawsuit turned out? If you were fired for legally changing your name, I would imagine you’d have a good case. On the other hand if you falsified those documents, you were fired for that, not for “being gay”.
What are you talking about? I’ve heard plenty of logical reasons given. Just because you don’t understand them and/or refuse to believe them, doesn’t make them illogical. As this thread is about same-gender relationships, that is what is about. Yet while different-gender relationships have the option of legal lifelong unions, same-gender ones do not. Touchy subject. Could you please tell me your opinion? Is homosexuality a choice or is it something you are born to be?It NOT kindness to spread discrimnation or support it.
