The reality though, is that they sin in other ways–by contributing to the unhealthy eating habits of millions of people–worldwide–and by serving foods that are bathed in who knows what? Not oils that you and I cook with–they sin by contributing to the sin of gluttony, etc…
I highly recommend the movie, Supersize Me…it will give an eye opening view of McDonald’s…and how they really could care less about what they’re putting into their foods. Have I eaten at McDonald’s? Yes, I have…and it tastes good, too. But, they put so many things in their foods to get people ‘addicted’ to their foods…not unlike nicotine added cigarettes that tobacco companies use to get their customers addicted. After reading about them, corporately, they sound like just another greedy company out to make money…and out to harm the public.
So, their support of something ELSE immoral is par for the course, when I look at a chain like McDonald’s.
