From the second part of the interview:
The other interesting thing he noted is that about 100 years before Darwin, geologists were on to the idea that the earth was older than previously thought.Scientific reason is the way that we will understand the natural world as much as we are capable of understanding it as human beings. But, scientific reason doesn’t answer every question that is worth answering.
In the interview, he comes across as a kind and reasonable man. I really appreciate his point that as Christians, our first duty is to truth, and to posit things that aren’t likely can lead to a loss of faith. Everything flows from that.
