I will ALWAYS support The Vatican’s decisions when it comes to matters like this because The Pope and the Magisterium of The Church can never teach heresy.
first they came for those who questioned women’s ordination but I didn’t support that so I said nothing…

Correction. No men, not even churchmen, could reverse the teaching of the Church on this matter.it was men who made the decision to ban women, and it only men who could reverse it in the future.
It’s not about prejudices or silly feelings. The poll which banned men from thids topic excluded 49% of the population! it was men who made the decision to ban women, and it only men who could reverse it in the future. So ladies, please step back while the males have their say.
The poll confrimed my suspicions that it is women themselves who oppose the ordination of women. Which woman would go to Confession to another woman and reveal her faults to her, or take advice from her? Now let me get my tin hat on!
Maklavan. What is the Church? The Pope, the Curia, the Vatican.? All men. surely the people is the Church? How many women were consulted when this decision was made? The statement “The Church has spoken…that’s the end of it” apart from being inaccurate, is staggering in its effrontery. You cannot silence dissent by saying “Shut up! the Church has spoken!” millions left yhe Church in modern times because of this attitude.
Don’t supporters of women’s “ordination” believe that their “private erroneous opinion is more important than obeying Church teaching”?The only people who oppose this official teaching of the Church are sedevacantists, Lefebvrists or those who think that their private erroneous opinion is more important than obeying Church teaching.
And they were all ordained priestesses!
Oh, wait, they weren’t. Those cowardly men were, though.
Actually, they weren’t - Jesus didn’t ordain anyone. And I recall that St. Paul says that some have gifts of healing, some are called to preach…doesn’t say only men.
Wow! You should really read some church history before you use the word NEVER! Cause that just isn’t true!I will ALWAYS support The Vatican’s decisions when it comes to matters like this because The Pope and the Magisterium of The Church can never teach heresy.
The Catholic Church has never in her 2000 years taught a doctrine that was a heresy. This is due to Christ’s promise that Hell will not prevail against His church. There have been bad people in the Church in the past, true, but if you honestly believe that the Church has taught false doctrine in the past, then there really is no reason for any of us to be Catholic because Hell would have prevailed against His bride which would make Christ a liar, which is impossible.Wow! You should really read some church history before you use the word NEVER! Cause that just isn’t true!
It wasn’t ‘men’ that banned women it was one ‘man’ that banned women. You may have heard of Him, His name was JESUS! He was man but He was also God. Seems like God left out 100% of the human race in His decission not just 49% of our current population. Faith is not a democracy where we vote on what we want to believe - that’s Protestantism. We are Catholic. We follow what God gave us WITHOUT question! The poll which banned men from thids topic excluded 49% of the population! it was men who made the decision to ban women, and it only men who could reverse it in the future…
