I’d go too. We should meet! (I’m not sure I can make it, but the Met is my favorite spot in NY I could spend an entire day)z

Just because page six identified it as a bondage mask, doesn’t mean it is.

Maybe, it’s an actual historical article?

I trust the Cardinal more so than page six.

It actually doesn’t look like anything historical or a mask. It looks like a bunch of leather belts tied around the face. It isn’t art. It is just profanity.

I sadly don’t trust many leaders because they don’t take sacredness as seriously as they should.

I’ll be back in early June for business! If I can get away, I’ll let you know!

Well, it’s true that they won’t do Islam for the reasons you just said. Christianity is a target for people to sexualise and disrespect it, for sure. Because it’s not on the list of oppressed groups. I’ll give you that. It’s something I’m annoyed about too. I did like some of the outfits though. It just bothered me because I know the celebrities themselves have a lot of crap to say about our faith. (eg Ariana Grande, who has spread blatant falsehoods about the religion years ago).

But at the same time, they’ve done China and they got some controversy over cultural appropriation. Hmm who knows? I’m expecting more culture from the Met in years to come, though I don’t know how many meltdowns there would be.

I hope God was doing his thing in the event (planting some seeds).

Let it go…was it the Little Flower who prayed "save me from sour faced saints’?

Life is to short to always have our panties in a twist!

Sure! I’ll only be there for a couple of days but I’d love to get away from the office and do something fun!

Christianity is a target because it is the true Faith. The world hates it. More Christians are killed than members of any other religion. It is the most persecuted religion. The persecution isn’t as bad in the US. But actively encouraging it by participating in things which demean and weaken the Faith only emboldens those who do persecute and oppress Christians.

Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper) & Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones)

Apparently it’s first time they are together in public.

Our Lady at Fatima said that God was already very much offended by fashions and that we must be careful not to offend Him anymore. I saw this last night and couldn’t believe my eyes. No wonder Our Lady gave us the First Saturday’s devotion to make reparation for blasphemies like this. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

The more you mock Our Lady, the more your heart will be hardened. Please stop.

This is a post of the decent outfits. I also saw an interview of Selena gomez just now. Don’t really like her look (more of personal taste I guess) but she went for a Queen Esther look and her purse has a proverbs 31 verse on it. I thought that was kind of…neat. She did leave the Church for a protestant one though.

I was hoping for outfits inspired by the Church rather than people parading as a sexy pope, cardinal or Mary…sigh. At least we got some.

The ones who went literal with their costumes (IMO) were the ones that I found to be either boardering on the offensive or just plain offensive (like Rihanna).

From the buzzfeedarticle,I found this one the most intriguing.

The designer really did a great job of making the dress look like armor yet still be a dress. I’m impressed.
