Back to the topic (again) which is not Mr. Voris con or pro, if he wishes to report on generalities based on out of context remarks and using the secular style of shock rhetoric, there is nothing wrong with that. However, I think it crosses the line when he chooses to castigate other wonderful Catholic ministries and accuse them of making deliberate choices based on rather base motives. That is what this thread is about. “I have my way of reporting, you have yours, but yours is not serving the Church and mine is.”
I am sure that most of us are well-versed in Catholic teaching, have read many encyclicals and bishops statements. So, in the Catholic media, who sounds more like the Catholic Church? I still think that the Catholic Church is big enough for all types and I hope some day Mr. Voris will have an apostolate in the Church. On the other hand, if he thinks he can only follow God being independent, that is between him and God.
