I don’t know, ask Paul. He was suggesting that these stations deliberately chose not to air it so as not to support the great dictator, not because of prior programming.

At the same time, violations of the Hatch act would have to be “alleged”, there have been no penalities handed out from what I know.
The allegations, with recommendations for appropriate action, were made by an arm of the government tasked with monitoring violations of the act. This is entirely different than an allegation by some newspaper reporter.

I am not at all sure how you get that out of what Paul wrote that elicited your response:
So, reports are that ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC won’t be televising the President’s rally tonight.

Fox and C-Span will.

Yes, I see what you are saying. All the same, they are allegations. And I believe they found the allegations against Huckabee-Sanders as invalid.

All the same, they are allegations.
Up to this point, the findings of the OSC led to administrative actions to comply with the law, and no further action was necessary. The Trump administration has responded differently, and its AG has taken no action. This is lawlessness.
And I believe they found the allegations against Huckabee-Sanders as invalid.
You are mixing “allegations” again. A non-governmental groups made complaints to the OSC about a number of individuals in the Trump administration. The finding of the OSC was Huckabee-Sander’s reported action did not violate the Hatch Act. But it found that numerous others did.

Well, anecdotally, my extensive military family and his poll numbers with active duty servicemen and women seem to bear out that he is well-liked.
That’s good so maybe next time Congress will include such festivities in their budget.

Maybe, maybe not. Not sure what that has to do with him being popular amont military folks.

Fortunately at that time of the evening I was before the Blessed Sacrament in our Adoration Chapel…thanking our Blessed Savior for all the many blessings he has given to me…my family…and to this nation…and not have to put up with all the political stuff…

Actually it wasn’t political in the least.Trump never mentioned himself, instead honored each branch of the military one by one. Praised God for th gift of America, etc.

All those who wished for rain got their wish granted. Didn’t seem to have the effect they wished for (which I assume is ruin the day). There aren’t as many Trump haters as some people think.

People that against who findings were made by the OSC were promoting party candidates, while compensated with taxpayer dollars.
At Conway’s level, you’re pretty much on duty 24/7, and any time she goes on TV, she’s going to be identified by name and role in the Administration, so essentially the OSA is finding that anytime Conway goes on TV and endorses a candidate likely to advance her bosses agenda, she is violating the Hatch Act, which is ridiculous, and why the recommendations weren’t followed up on.

Returning to the main topic, I think the grudging admittance by Trump’s haters that the speech wasn’t awful is pretty much drowned out by their earlier cries that his 4th of July celebration is just like North Korea or Tienanmen Square. People will remember how stupid our supposed elites acted.

It is not ridiculous. Taxpayers foot the bill for her work. She has no business working on behalf of party candidates when acting in an official government capacity.

What is ridiculous is that flouting this law is yawned at by conservatives, who were quick to point out similar, albeit one time events, in the Obama administration.

Pretty rich coming from liberals who think flouting immigration law is virtuous.
It comes from me, not a category.
I did not think that immigration laws should be flouted. Whatever gave you that idea?

This one is simple, just google it: this act of partisanship was all over the news.
Since the example is yours, showing to details that supposedly support your argument are up to you.
