Miller appears to be trying to get back into the closet. Can they close the door tightly enough?

Miller pulls sponsorship from San Francisco homosexual “Leather Event”

San Francisco, Sep 27, 2007 / 11:25 am (CNA).- Following an uproar over its sponsorship of the annual homosexual event known as the Folsom Street Fair, Miller Brewing Company has pulled its support from the event.
**The scuffle over the brewer’s sponsorship is over a poster **for the fair that portrays half-naked sado-masochists as Christ and his disciples at the Last Supper.

No it’s NOT, the ‘scuffle’ is over Miller thinking that it would be a good idea to give these people money.

This is what I don’t understand. The Miller grant guidelines state no grants can be made for religious organizations, yet they allow this?

Unfortunatly it doesn’t say anything about"anti-religious’ organizations.🤷

MILLER OFFICERS RECEIVE S&M PHOTOS; BOYCOTT TO EXTEND BEYOND SUNDAY’S EVENT
“Over 200 religious organizations spanning six faith communities were sent a letter yesterday asking them to join us in the boycott. If S&M Miller doesn’t pull its sponsorship, we will announce a game plan on Monday that will make the company regret it ever decided to insult Christians.”

After looking at these photos how could anyone deny this is just plain disgusting and deviant?

Shame on Miller!

I’ve contact Julian Green and told him personally what I thought about that ad and proceeds from the event being funneled to the Sisters of Indulgence.

I have a brother that drives a Miller truck and delivers beer. After I told him about what Miller did he quit his job with a detailed explaination why. Budweiser hired him on the spot.

My other brother owns a bar in Little Rock and they will no longer stock Miller beer or promotional products.

Me personally I’ve quit buying their product and refuse to buy from them no matter what they do. If the Catholic League hadn’t of caught them in act of sponsoring anti-christian organizations they would of kept on doing it.

👍 you and your brothers are in my prayers.

I emailed them and asked why they specifically exclude religious groups (as many do, I know) and then sponsor something like this. I have not heard back.

I am inspired by those of you who have gone the whole nine yards and resigned from positions, stopped selling their product, and motivated friends and relatives to do the same.

The folsom street fair, perhaps one of the most shocking events against Catholicism and Christianity is going to take place here in San Francisco, sponsored by Miller brewing company. The poster promoting the event this year is a parody of the Last Supper painting replacing it with disgraceful and blasphemous images of sadomasochists and sex toys. Furthermore, the event will once again be sponsoring the drag-queen organization called the sisters of perpetual indulgence who mock Catholic nuns and held a terrible mockery of Easter Sunday by staging a blasphemy called the hunky Jesus competition.
My brothers and sisters, this abomination cannot be tolerated as a public display in which sadomasochism is openly condoned and promoted. Fighting this event is not an act against homosexuality, but an act against hatred towards Christians and for human rights. However, we must be careful not to be hostile towards such people condoning these acts against the faith but must humble ourselves and peacefully speak out against such injustice. I believe that the fair has gone too far in its message especially through the sisters of perpetual indulgence and cannot be tolerated. For those of you who do not live in San Francisco, the fair takes place outside in public and sadomasochist practices are openly performed and condoned.
It is our duty to stand up for righteousness in Jesus’ name and speak out against these kinds of blatant mockeries and promotion of sin. This must be done with love and the Holy Spirit so that those who are lost may know that the true Christian lives by God’s Love and does not seek to hate or insult even those who provoke.

what’s the point of these photos being displayed?

and so many.]()

Most likley to show how discusting and vile this event is…

I question why you see the reason to link this…without a warning I might add…

I’d suggest those who don’t like what happens at the Folsom Street Fair should not attend it. That’s easy.

I use this tactic all the time. If there is a movie I think will be bad, I don’t go to see it. Same with books. If I pick up a book in the bookstore, and it doesn’t interest me, then I don’t buy and read it. I suppose I use it most often with TV shows. If I don’t like a show, I have a remote with a channel button that works wonders from the comfortable confines of the couch.

This event is held on government-funded public roads which people use to take their children to school and to church. It’s going to be “protected” by policemen at the expense of taxpayers.

You can not force people to pay for road maintenance, then shut down those roads for an event they oppose, and expect them to “just ignore it.”

Where I come from, public roads are intended for carrying automobile traffic. Sex parties are typically held on private property, without government sanction.

A while back, we had three rather heated threads going about how horrible it was to publicly show pictures of aborted babies, “My children might see that and be traumatized!!”

Yet somehow, none of those people have come forward to say that their children might see this stuff and be traumatized.

Sure it’s on public streets. So what? They are closed for the day just like the local Catholic church has a street closed for its annual fair. The church gets police protection, municipal workers block the street, and taxpayers foot the bill. The pope comes to town and half the police force of New York is deployed.

It’s simple. If you don’t like Catholics or the pope, then stay away when they have a permit to close a street for a fair or parade down broadway in the popemobile. It goes both ways. Just like using the TV clicker.
