I noticed the Catholic League is rightly speaking out against the travesty in San Francisco, but I haven’t heard anything from the local bishop in that area. Have you ??
He is still trying to figure out why people think he should correct Nancy Pelosi. 😦

Note that San Francisco refused a permit to the Marines.

Thanks, for keeping us informed, no more Miller for me.
Are you boycotting Miller because they are removing sponsorship or because they sponsored the ad in the first place?

Anyway, I am glad that Miller has removed sponsorship.

During the NASCAR race today, of course there were Miller Lite ads. I happened to notice their “motto” in the bottom right corner. It reads: “LIVE RESPONSIBLY”! How in the world can they think that sponsoring that Sodom and Gamora Festival in San Franscisco is promoting responsible living? Especially with AIDS being rampant among male homosexuals?

They are still a sponsor they just requested that thier logo to be taken off the one poster.🤷

So, under that enumerated right, should the Folsom Street Fair get a permit, too?

They should receive equal protection under the law – no permit to the Marines, no permit to them. When San Francisco supports and tolerates others, then they can talk about toleration for this group.

…and the Plot gets thicker:shrug:

House Speaker Pelosi criticized for dismissing blasphemous ad, indecent festival catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=10533
Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, has spearheaded national opposition to the festival. Matt Barber, CWA’s Policy Director for Cultural Issues, assailed the event: “we have photographic evidence that the San Francisco government suspends indecency and child abuse laws for a day allowing fair goers to parade the streets of San Francisco, fully nude, engaging in illegal public sex while tax-payer funded police stand by and do nothing. Children are allowed to - and do - attend this event and are exposed to this activity which is illegal child abuse.”
Mr. Barber has called on local politicians to distance themselves from the festival. “…we requested that California’s elected officials, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, publicly condemn this anti-Christian, anti-Catholic ad. Instead, Nancy Pelosi responded to our request with a condescending and dismissive quip.”
Speaker Pelosi, a Democrat, represents the San Francisco area in the House of Representatives. Her press secretary Drew Hammill is reported to have addressed the controversy: “As a Catholic, the speaker is confident that Christianity has not been harmed.”
On October 6 Ms. Pelosi will receive the 2007 National Equality Award from the homosexual activist organization Human Rights Campaign.

Millers reply to email:

Thank you for contacting Miller Brewing Company.

While Miller has supported the Folsom Street Fair for several years, we take exception to the poster the organizing committee developed this year. We understand some individuals may find the imagery offensive and we have asked the organizers to remove our logo from the poster effective immediately.

We regret that our failure to adhere to our own policy led to an inappropriate use of our trademark and apologize to anyone who was offended as a result, particularly members of the Christian community who have contacted us to express their concern.

We are conducting an immediate audit of our procedures for approving local marketing and sales sponsorships to ensure that this does not happen again.

It is important to understand that the Folsom Street Fair does not target the general public in its communications. The fair itself and the organization’s website are only intended for the adult alternative lifestyle community.

I got the same reply. I noticed they didn’t answer the key question I asked, “How will I ever be able to enjoy a Miller without thinking of this disgusting mess?”

I cant believe you actually drink miller, Budweiser/Bud Light/Budweiser select all the way!
Well not a lot, tried it a few times, (gone off it ) but there is really no taste of it, and the reason over here that we always ask for a slice of lemon into the neck of the bottle to give it some zest.

But I’m not giving my money to some brewing company or anyone else that gives money to gay pride movements, abortion groups or anyone else that gets up my nose, and that isn’t hard. 🙂

Well Bud…yuk, I tried it once and had the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced, I know hardened drinkers here in Ireland that would never drink it.

We have no shortage of beer here as the world already knows and reminds us.

Guinness, Stella, Tennents, Harp, Heineken, Carlsberg,
Jameson whiskey, Hennessy whiskey, and even Old Jack Daniels is sold here too.

I’ve drank whiskey, don’t care for it, prefer brandy, the French stuff, because Hennessy although Irish is just too strong for me, as we say here, " it would blow the head of you" 🙂

I couldn’t possibly do a list of what is sold over here, probably more types here than stars in the heavens.

Well have they removed sponsorship or just a blasphemous poster of the Last Supper ? anyway the blasphemous poster was enough for me.

And besides I don’t drink much, so no beer company will make a mint out of me, and because the bars here have out-priced themselves, more and more people are staying at home with their carry out.

Gotta take my hat off to them, nice wording, all well and good, and we have the right not to buy the product.

You are correct saying Miller pulled logo from the ad. However, they are still financing the ad, without their logo. Continue the boycott for the disgrace they have brought to millions of Chirstians.

I’ve boycotted Miller for years. The federal gov’t should get them for falsely advertising their product as “beer” when it plainly an inferior imitation.

I’d suggest those who don’t like what happens at the Folsom Street Fair should not attend it. That’s easy.

.
Oh my dear RowBoat,
This goes way beyond not attending the event if you don’t like it. It is the moral obligation of Christians everywhere to contact Miller Brewing Company and let them know that they will never buy Miller products again until they agree to never sponsor this event again.

This is the most offensive display of anti Christian depravity and filth imaginable.

This my friend, goes way… way beyond, “Change the Channel if you don’t like it” More like “Change Miller Brewing Company if you don’t like the extreme filth they are promoting” and the only thing they will listen to is loss of revenue. Period!

This is an extreme outrage. God have mercy on all the souls involved.

You can put it any way you like. But I drink beer for enjoyment. I will never be able to enjoy a Miller without seeing those imaqes in my imagination.

The bad part is that the Poster may have been the least offensive part of the fair. it incuded rampant male nudity, sado maschims and public homosexual sex. Some of the participants even bought “their” young adopted children that adoption agencies were forced under "enlightened Ca law to provide them . I guess the training has to startyoung

Knowing all that, could you drink a Miller and enjoy it?

I don’t think we need to boycott Miller – they’ve created their own boycott!

Click on folson street fair- picture on left. Very graphic. Catholic league says there are even more graphic pictures.

This is quite disturbing that we have become so immune to such disgust that it is allowed on our streets. Before you know it our country will be moral-less.

This is the first I have heard of the Catholic league organization. They are worth supporting! Check em out.
