Dear Sir/Madam:

Do you have anything to say on the links provided, if you have watched them all?
This 3 year old boy recites Surah Maryam too.

I don’t like proselytizing and spam
I don’t like it, Sam I am.

No, I don’t. I have seen many such videos. I know that Muslims see them as some kind of miracle. I do not.

memorisation of the Quran by a three year old child is possible within normal bounds without miraculous aid. Why this can be seen as a miracle is beyond me.

I think it all boils down to a question of perspective.

For instance, the Qur’an teaches that the very first miracle that Jesus (pbuh) performed was to speak in defense of his mother’s honour and dignity while he was still an infant in his cradle.

Christians, on the other hand, believe that the first miracle Jesus (pbuh) ever did was to turn water into wine at a wedding feast.

Therefore, it is hardly surprising then that Christians would not view anything miraculous about the feat of a 3-year old reciting the Qur’an.

A two-year-old British boy with an IQ of at least 160, equal to that of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, is chosen to join the society of geniuses known as Mensa.”

Based on the statement released by the Gifted Children’s Information Centre, Oscar ranks in the 99.99th percentile of the population, making him one of the brightest children in the world.

All Praise is due to God Almighty…

What makes you think anyone here understands any of this. We have a few Arabic muslims here and that’s about it.

The other posters are right. Spam, spam, spam.

Give this toddler some cough medicine, tuck him into bed and give him his teddy bear.

Um…I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here, Larryx. That wasn’t quite a complete sentence.

But anyway, yes, I have seen many such videos posted to youtube and other places by Muslim proselytizers, and I am still unmoved. They are certainly not a miracle, especially when you consider what a premium is placed on the recitation of the Qur’an in Islamic societies. It would be like a Christian thinking that their child having learned the Rosary, the Jesus Prayer, or the Trisagion at an early age is miraculous. They may be proud, but really…that’s what is supposed to happen when you give your child a good Christian education! To say it is a “miracle”, rather than just impressive or praiseworthy, is a bit of an abuse of the term “miracle”.

Life is a miracle. Being able to recite something that you’ve been taught to memorize ever since you can remember is not.

When i was 3 years old, i loved golden books, esp one called sam and the firefly…
I could tell anyone that story off by heart at 3, now because i remembered a book, is that a miracle? NO!
What is a miracle is when this child learns the truth about Jesus and then that is what you can call a miracle.

FYI, unlike “sam and the firefly”, the Qur’an does NOT have big and colourful pictures in it.

Has anyone here ever tried reading a bedtime story to a 3-year old with a book that does not have pictures in it?

hammy,
The point im trying to make is, if you read a book of any type of description to a child, a child’s mind is always learning, it takes information in faster than an adults, therefore, in this case, and i have no doubt this child was forced to listen and practise learning the quran, is probably made to do this upto 8 hours a day!
As we have seen in footage shown from pakistan, saudi etc of child young reciting the quran for HOURS at a time.
With this sort of forced training, are you surprised this 3 year old knows parts of the quran off by heart? im not!

For everyones information, I honestly would say that most adults throughout the Muslim world would not be able to recite the Qur’an from memory as readily as the 3-year old boy shown in the video.

That doesn’t suprise me.

Still 3 years old is kind of impressing and so is that story posted above about the kid memorising the New Testement. I think it depends if this three year old had practice for three hours or less than I was say there might be something to it but i dont know its all specualtion.

Is something a miracle just because you are impressed by it, though? I don’t think so, but maybe you feel differently.

There is no miracle or anything, its just a propaganda by Muslims.

According to the third link in the OP, the kid is only memorizing “Surah 19” and “part of Surah 02” NOT the whole Quran, so where is the miracle in that!!!
