Mitt Romney’s campaign calls gay teen bullying report ‘exaggerated’

So Romney conveniently has no recollection of leading a gang to assault and humiliate a gay student, or of bullying another gay student (yelling “atta girl” at him when he tried to speak in class). When will Romney make a statement about this? Isn’t it time he apologize?

Oh My goodness! Have you never been in high school? I could tell you plenty of stories from my sons’ classes in a Jesuit high school. These are BOYS. Growing up to be MEN. It’s what guys do. Go back and tell the aliens on your planet all about it.

I imagine Romney may have been a prankster similar to George Bush. It’s not unusual behavior for prep school students. However, I hope the former is a little smarter, just in case he becomes our next President.

When I was freshman(in a seminary nonetheless!) they used to put our heads in the urinals and flush. When I was a sophomore we did the same to the incoming freshmen. I guess I am now disqualified from ever holding public office!

Too late for him, I expect. But undoubtedly when the Obamajugend gets established, such things will not be tolerated among the young unless, of course, the target is a traditional Catholic or something.

Cdl Dolan has said he will go to jail sooner than obey Obama’s contraception/abortifacient mandate. And Obama has not blinked, which tells me he’s willing enough to jail Cdl Dolan.

So, we have a president who appears ready to jail a Catholic Cardinal for being faithful to his Church, and we’re being diverted by a story about a 17 or 18 year old cutting some guy’s hair?

But I guess that’s fairly representative of how the left in this country thinks.

Conservatives, like the two articles I posted of, have spoken out defending the right of gay people to be judged on their capability to a job rather than their sexuality, so do not tarnish all social conservatives.

Who is the source in the CNN article? Mitt Romney and his spokespeople have said they did not want Grennell to leave.

They got Grenell to Self-Deport. Thats according to a Times Report with dozens of sources that quotes Alex Wong an aid for the the Romney campaign. Wong nor Romney have denied the report.

While I would tend to agree, I’m beginning to wonder…

This weekend, one of my former classmates brought up the fact that it snowed on our law school graduation (in late May), which it was only a decade ago. I honestly have no recollection of that, which is something I think I’d remember.

No, he died of liver cancer. Pretty much guarantees that he was an alcoholic…But his life sounded very interesting! He did a lot of stuff, including getting his embalmer’s license.



And, I can’t imagine ANYONE being out as homosexual in 1965. It just wasn’t done.
