Bay Buchanan is a senior advisor to Romney and that is good enough for me about the abortion issue. She is staunchly pro-life and I don’t think she would back someone who was not pro-life. Yes, he may have exceptions, but Paul Ryan doesn’t and both are ultimately better on that issue than Obama.
Romney hasn’t read the GOP platform?
Most pro-lifers are practical. They don’t sacrifice the good for the perfect. We get a “pro-life” majority when we embrace those who are imperfectly pro-life. Together, we can pull the country in the right direction. Separately, we cede the issue to the pro-choicers.

lifesitenews.com/news/romney-im-in-favor-of-legal-abortion-for-health-and-life-of-mother-rape-inc and he condemned Akins ? lifesitenews.com/news/women-who-cried-wolf-the-illegitimate-rape-claim-behind-roe-v-wade
The largest illegitimate rape claim ever perpetrated in the history of our nation was the foundation for the filing of Roe v Wade, which led to abortion on demand in our country! So the next time you hear anyone complaining about Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remark, I want you to remember that abortion rights activists are the women who cried wolf. They are the ones who are squarely responsible for the skepticism we see today regarding women who claim to be pregnant by rape, and they’ve set an example for other women to lie about it too. For those on the left who criticize Akin, I can assuredly call you out as hypocrites.
And for those who make the rape exception, some blame rests on you as well. After all, once you make a rape exception, you now have to set a standard in order to determine whether a claim of rape is legitimate so that the government will not be defrauded when a woman wants to receive Medicaid funding to abort her child - as in the Hyde Amendment exceptions. Rape exceptions put the government in this position – whether they require a police report, social service agency report, or a doctor’s certification that he’s satisfied that the woman’s claim of rape is legitimate.

Paul Ryan personally asked Akin to step out and Ryan is against all abortion

A president does not decide abortion law, they can supped pro life or pro abortion legislation and election supreme court judges who support their abortion view. Obama has expanded abortion throughout the world through funding the UN population fund, which also works in China, and through the Mexico city policy

Romney is committed to reversing roe vs wade. That is what the pro life movement has been fighting for nearly 40 years so his view on whether he is against all abortion or in cases of rape and incest is not the main factor. Romney has laid out his pro life agenda he would take as president to pro life advocate Pam Badgers

Dear Pam,

Thank you for contacting me about the important issue of abortion. I appreciate your interest in my campaign for president and would like to thank you for taking the time to share your views with me.

I am firmly pro-life. I believe that if abortion were limited to cases of rape, incest, and circumstances in which the mother’s life is in peril, we will have gone a long way to ending abortion in this country. I support the reversal of Roe v. Wade, because it is bad law and bad medicine. Roe was a misguided ruling that was a result of a small group of activist federal judges legislating from the bench.

I support the Hyde Amendment, which broadly bars the use of federal funds for abortions. And as president, I will end federal funding for abortion advocates like Planned Parenthood.

I will reinstate the Mexico City Policy to ensure that nongovernmental organizations that receive funding from America refrain from performing or promoting abortion services, as a method of family planning, in other countries. This includes ending American funding for any United Nations or other foreign assistance program that promotes or performs abortions on women around the world.

I will advocate for and support a Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to protect unborn children who are capable of feeling pain from abortion.

And perhaps most importantly, I will only appoint judges who adhere to the Constitution and the laws as they are written, not as they want them to be written.

As Governor of Massachusetts, I fought to promote abstinence education in the classroom, vetoed legislation to provide emergency contraception without a prescription, and vetoed embryonic cloning legislation. I am proud to say that each time I was presented with legislation on life issues, I sided with life. I remain strongly dedicated to that position.

I am running for president because I believe in America and know that our best days are still ahead. I believe that the principles that made America the leader of the world today—freedom, opportunity, and free enterprise to name just a few—are the very principles that will keep America the leader of the world tomorrow. These last few years have not been the best of times. But while we’ve lost a few years, we have not lost our way.

Again, thank you for contacting me. I encourage you to visit my website at www.MittRomney.com for updated information on this and other issues that may be of interest to you. I look forward to hearing from you in the future, and earning your support.

Sincerely,

Mitt Romney

A president does not decide abortion law, they can sign pro life or pro abortion legislation and elect supreme court judges who support their abortion view. Obama has expanded abortion through the world through funding the UN population fund, which supports pa reframe or sterilisation that is involuntarily in China and coerced abortion, and the Mexico city policy. He has elected supreme court judges who oppose reversing roe vs wade. The next president will probably elect supreme court judges. If Obama is reelected he will get that choice and could push the reversal of roe vs wade for decades

With all the tap dancing he’s doing, he should audition for a Broadway musical…😃

Do you think calling the President a tap dancer has racial overtones?
I don’t think it would be, but I’m sure someone would! 😃

He’s a politician isn’t he? Don’t they all “dance a little sidestep” around the issues?

I believe the preferred dance for all politicians is the Hokey Pokey.

Best ad I have seen, lifelong democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 switch their support for Romney

We’ll probably see the same ad with lifelong Republicans who switched sides in the last election and are staying there when the next convention starts.

My late father voted GOP his entire life, until the last election when he switched sides. I have a friend out in Michigan who worked for GW Bush but voted for Obama last time and plans to again.

The parties have changed a lot in the last 20 years and there has been migration both ways.

Ad posted on the Obama youtube page called republican women for Obama was exposed as at least 2 women being demcorats who had supported Obama in 2008, 1 being registered democrat since 2006
