I watched Chris Matthews…ONCE. That was more than enough for me. There are a ton of these opinion people that I just have no interest in. I used to like Hannity years ago in NYC when he had his radio show. He had a person from the left and right of each issue and there was actual intelligent debate. People spoke calmly to each other and listened to the other side before responding. Then he found out he could make more money shouting over people and playing to one side and I lost interest. By the time he got his TV gig it was even worse. Don’t even get me started on Olberman-he should have stayed at ESPN and talked sports, although he was kind of annoying there too. I used to go to Church with Neil Cavuto when I lived up North, and he’s a nice guy with a nice family-but his show became more about a single bias than simply information too over time.i gave up watching chris matthews long ago. he just isn’t worth watching nor is the aggravation worth it from watching him and listening to him.
i think for a time i could tolerate him. i wasn’t a regular viewer of his show, but now i cannot stand to watch him. i can only imagine when the campaign season heats up these last couple of months before the election what he will be saying about romney and ryan.
The thing is-that’s what most people want. The MSNBC people want their shows to repeat the left leaning opinions that they already have, and the Fox people want their shows to repeat the right leaning opinions that they already have. That’s why these networks have succeeded. Rush Limbaugh became the success that he is because he was the first to figure out that there was a group of people that felt their opinions were underserved in the media and he made himself their voice.
