Very Good! I like to think ,we all, every voter considers the complete record of our nominees for the Office.

Most of us do not** completely **agree with either parties Platform .
But do try to discern the good and the bad in every single issue, not just one or two.
Never whether we hate or love the choices should it ever be a reason to be considered. and then fill in the box.
I am afraid too many of us in our thinking espouse the thoughts ,mentality and beliefs of t,v.entertainers, to name a few,Ann Coulter, Shawn Hannity, Rush, Glen Beck, Bill Oreilly .
Peace, Carlan
Church says quite clearly that no issue or combination of issues rises to the level of Abortion. The Church most certainly does no tell us who we have to vote for but they have made it clear who we can not. In this election a Catholic is rejecting the teachings of the Church if they vote for Obama. We can not directly or indirectly support the intrinsic evils of unrestricted abortion on demand and homosexual marriage. they simply is no way to twist Church teaching into supporting Obama.

I’m sorry if you have been espousing the thoughts mentality and beliefs of TV entertainers. You really should stop. 😉

Thanks, now I really feel left out. I’ve never heard Coulter, Beck or Oreilly and the last time I heard Hannity, Combes (sp?) was still on the show. I’ve heard bits and peices of Rush, but haven’t listened to him seriously since Clinton was president.

I’m gonna go cry now. 😛
One should not need the Church or any TV personality to tell them they can not support a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage candidate. If you want to cry cry for those who empower evil.

:bighanky:

You must be too busy watching the Daily Show, David Letterman, and Rachel Maddow. :doh2:

OH DEAR. I 'm sorry , Yesterday i swore to myself no more same old, same old.
But I just must say,in spite of your opinion and non respect and the fact that he was elected by the majority electorate, he is a very quick and throughly intelligent leader/thinker and has a most experienced and capable Cabinet.
If he is not reelected, I will wait and see if we all won’t be sorry for the consequences of electing his opponent.
Peace, Carlan
We all have our opinions, don’t we? Please show me how you have come to the conclusion that Mr. Obama is quick, and thoroughly intelligent. He does not attend many of the meetings that he should be attending. He was the most ill-prepared presidential candidate we have had in memory and the aspect that he was elected by the majority of the electorate says more about them than about the president. And this does not even begin to touch on his repudiation of the non-negotiables that a Catholic should keep in mind.

Thanks, I do appreciate the wink!

Gosh Robert, I do regret that you all have to cut off your nose to spite your face.
Fancy having to disadvantage yourselves in order to do harm to an adversary!
Peace, Carlan

I’m sure you are joking with me, but I’m not catching the reference. What am I cutting my nose off about?

Well actually I was thinking of the fact that most Republicans, because of wanting our President to become a one termer, You all will holding your nose in the voting booth.😦
Peace, Carlan

Weird. I’m not going to be holding my nose at all. I want our President to be a one-termer, because I want our country to move in the right direction. Romney is a much better choice imnsho.

I am under the impression that middle of the road Conservatives(not radical right wingers)
are not that keen on Mr.Romney. Right? Not that they will not vote for him anyway, like holding their nose, in spite of themselves
I believe our President is moving us in the right direction in spite of the slow moving economy .and I suppose we could go on forever about that too,but why when it has already been pounded into the ground and broken off.Peace, Carlan

P.S. you know you really don’t sound like one of your new crowd, what are they called, the Tea party:shrug:.

Really? I heard tonight that, according to the Marist poll, Obama is leading Romney beyond the statistical margin of error in three critical swing states: Ohio, Florida, and Virginia, as well as trouncing him in Michigan and even not too far behind in Montana, of all places. We (conservatives and liberals) seem to live in parallel universes, or maybe perpendicular ones!

I’m reading much the same meltzer. I believe a lot of the polling information on examiner is directly tied to GOP 2012 and is little more than wishful thinking.

Polls, polls. The newest Rasmussen poll has Romney up.

Given Obama’s failures in all aspect of his presdency, its a wonder that he isn’t down by 10 or more points. Give it time. The mainstream press can only protect him for so long.

I think the Tea Party is great, and I’m sure Romney does too. They stand for a smaller federal government, as we all should.

If you think an ever-expanding government, growing national debt, increasing poverty, increased partisanship, and shrinking status in the world is “moving forward,” then Obama is your guy. 👍

You overestimate the “holding your nose” meme, but I wonder…how many Democrats are holding their nose as they vote for the man that has accomplished so little of what he set out to do?
