Hi guys!

firstly, im new to the website, i absolutely LOVE IT! that being short and sweet, im hoping for some advice on a particular dilemma from my fellow Catholic brothers and sisters…
so, my husband’s best friends mother (who is the “family” friend) is VERY wiccan. shes now about 50 yrs old and has been a witch for i would guess a good 90% of her life. now, i have mixed feelings about this because as a person i love her and respect her, however(!) there are times when i cannot go to her house. its like i feel this incredible urge to jump up and RUN out of the house because it gives me a weird “i-need-to-leave” feeling. besides that, i’ve had some weird experiences in my own past that to this day freak me out: i.e. when i was converting back to Catholicism from being (or trying to be) muslim, i was extremely distraught (understatement!!) and it felt like a true fight for my soul between heaven and hell, tracing the edge of the precipice of despair, and *in my minds eye *i saw all these demons swirling and writhing around me trying to keep me from going back to the Truth and then Our Lady stood above them all and was reaching out Her hand to lift me out. (really, i am not crazy!) i prayed the whole Rosary 4 times that night and finally fell asleep in peace. (and this is connected to what i was originally posting lol i promise!) so anyways, obviously im VERY Catholic now lol and havent had any such experiences since then, however, i have seen in this woman’s eyes something strange, that reminds me of those demons i saw. she sometimes goes into “witch-mode” for lack of a better explanation, its almost like a weird momentary trance, and i remember vividly that when she looked at me in the midst of this strange moment that it wasnt her, it didnt seem human. it was EXTREMELY freaky. like there wasnt the glow a person should have in her eyes or the sparkle that she gets when shes happy. theres a few times ive seen her in this mode, the first being the first time i met her, about a month after my husband and i got married and we were home for the holidays. we thought i was pregnant and so when she offered us wine i politely declined. my husband went into the kitchen to talk with her (he told me this part later) and she said, shes pregnant isnt she? he said we werent sure. so i was heading into the kitchen, she met me on the way, put her hand on my stomach and gave me this horrible intense look (kinda like the one i mentioned above, only this gave me shivers up my spine!) and said, “you are. its a boy.”. FREAKY. she was SOOOOO convinced that she was right. she said you dont need to go to the store to get a test. my hubbie was right there agreeing with what she was saying

(mind you, she has this weird way with her “sons” (being her actual biological sons and her “adopted” sons who are her biological sons friends if you get what i mean) and theyd wait on her hand and foot if she asked them to, more so than their OWN biological parents…

) we did end up getting a test and i wasnt pregnant (haha). she also gave us a basket of “gathered things” thats not just an ordinary basket which also had a satchel of wiccan protective stuff that my husband brought with him to iraq (we were just friends back then) and i was extremely uneasy with it being in my (VERY) Catholic house. luckily, i found a Catholic way to destroy occult items and i did it when my husband was away on military training (i know it was sneaky, but i put the basket in the rubbish and he took it out and i put it back and he didnt say anything, so better forgotten (and nonexistant), right?). she also told me that i am “under the protection” now because i am part of the family. i was smiling with one of those

moments inside saying i dont need YOUR “protection” because i have Jesus and Mary! i never go to her house without my Rosary or blessing myself with holy water. now i pray for Christ to destroy anything that is evil and occult that has been placed upon my husband, me, us, our families and friends. im more at peace when i dont have to be there…
my question to all of you is, what do i do? visit? dont visit? what is the RIGHT thing to do?? the Christian thing to do?
thanks for your help and i hope i made enough sense!
Love and peace in Christ!
