Brother you are right… hm… but then that means… somebody has to step into the snakes nest and get the woman “preached”.

Thats what I think. 🙂
LOL. Sister, God will provide a way 🙂 . I’ve helped those who were possessed who had preachers come and try to exorcise them only to be thrown out of the house. God provided that I would come at a later time to help them.

And it took 9 months of almost daily exorcisms to finally see them be freed. This was an extreme case. I helped the person by not preaching, but by loving them unconditionally. That did far more good than preaching to them.

It certainly is a snake’s nest. One must be vigilant, unafraid and devoted to Christ to combat it. And we all must be vigilant to keep Satan at a distance. The great struggle.

You have God’s grace upon you. I can sense it. Be well my sister.

Peace…

I am a former pagan and I usually advise Christians to try to be relaxed about dealing with most of them, but if someone is giving off vibes like you describe - radiating evil in a physical sense - there is definitely something bad and wrong going on. I have met a few people like this myself and they disturbed me even when I was pagan. Do not allow yourself to be around this woman anymore. Be honest and matter-of-fact with with your husband about it, but firm; you are checking out from any more dealings with her and you’d appreciate it if he’d limit his contact too. If he won’t, pray pray pray for him when you know he will be around her.

I think you have received some very wise advice already!
she also told me that i am “under the protection” now because i am part of the family. i was smiling with one of those  moments inside saying i dont need YOUR “protection” because i have Jesus and Mary!
Have you ever said anything like this out loud to this lady? Don’t hold back! Not being rude about it, but just say “I’m already protected by my Savior, Jesus, and His Mother Mary! I don’t need any other protection.”

I, too, have seen the “evil eyes.” They are quite scary. I agree that you should not go to her home. Many occult objects have demonic attachments to them as well. Can’t imagine what oppression must be in her home.

You should talk to your husband about your discomfort in seeing this lady. Simply tell him that your immortal soul is not worth the risk, and neither is his. Then pray together for her conversion.

Brother. Since you are so kind I must tell you I let my self be evaluated by no one, and does not evaluate myself much either. (- following the advice of the apostle Paul).
Beware lest you call me spiritual only because you feel flattered at the warmth in my greeting. I say this to you firmly because you are very careful that everyone should see your own great charismatic gifts. This need to point to one self I see as a suspicious trait in a Christian brother and I want to warn you so you don’t fall for the deception of satan for I think your intentions are good.

In all honesty… I feel some unease when looking at your profile-line… I am against hypnosis and mixing spirituality with psychology. Some people think they can do this and they start to think they can do things in their own strength and ability and without noticing it, they loose sight of the fact that Everything comes SOLELY through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, when, as and if He wants…

Shalom 👍

I only mention God’s grace is upon you because it is Him who has done so and not of your own accord. I didn’t mention “spiritual” because that is a deceiving term that doesn’t mean much. I wasn’t flattered by the greeting. But, I sensed a warmth there. Hard to explain how that is. But, I sensed it.

I don’t mention my work to anyone I’m close to when it comes to deliverance. Even close friends don’t know about it. But, I have a sense of anonymity online and can keep a distance. No one in my church knows either. I share my experiences with those I feel in need. And, I share my inmost thoughts and experiences only with a mentor.

All that I have and am are because of Christ. I abandoned Him years ago and followed Eastern religions. I came back and He forgave me. So great was His grace that I agreed to do the work for which He has called me. It is a rather non-glamorous and despised work, but I don’t mind.

As far as hypnosis goes, the Catholic Church supposedly has said it is valid if it is for licit purposes. That was back in the 50’s. There are some who use it for vain purposes. I use it to help those in need.

Hypnosis is a scientifically valid tool that is often misunderstood and has nothing to do with spirituality or a person having “power” over another. Some use it to manipulate weak minds that are willing to be manipulated, that’s true. But a person in the hypnotic state cannot do anything against their morals. It’s been proven.

God is the Divine source of healing and I’ve only been a tool. It can be easy to fall into the trap of glorifying oneself. But, just when I’m about to do that, God gently reminds me that He is the potter and I am the clay and that all I have and am is because of Him. Of course, I am human and have failed. The Father understands that.

Peace…

lol actually, her therapist is very good, she just resists him a lot on her issues i think. shes had an extremely hard life, seems almost fantastical in a horribly twisted way, and she doesnt trust anyone. shes like a very broken little girl who is very proud and independent…
i did talk to my priest whos a great man. he told me to remember that all things created are from God and that they are good because He made them. its people who twist them. I would like more advice from a priest though, it would be very helpful. I think my priest doesnt know much in these departments. Though he is a fantastic priest!
Probably not, however demons are not good. Like I said, find an exorcist and bring him along with you. That should freak her out.

lol believe me, ive got annointed rocks in all 4 corners of my house, i sprinkle holy water around, blessed salt, i have a HUGE St. Benedict medal in my house specifically against witchcraft and evil, and i wear a Brown Scapular (which i have since it was heaven-sent to me after my whole experience above with Our Lady reaching down to pull me out of the hell i was in. im sending my husband with a St. Benedict Medal today with some holy oil with an excorsim blessing on it to keep on him.
St. Benedict the patron saint for protection from demons. Give him some Blessed Salt as well.

@Mystic Warrior:

Are you a priest?

@medallionsnijme:

That sounds good that you have protected you house. I don’t know much about this, however it sounds good that you have done this. I would also attend to your doors.

You could also be honest and say, “I’m so sorry, I love you very much, but there is a presence in your house that oppresses me when I am there. Sometimes it seems as if it even clouds your eyes. I hope you understand, but this isn’t negotiable. Can we meet somewhere else?”

You would know whether this has any chance of succeeding. It’s just a thought.

It is important, however, that we not become superstitious ourselves, meaning that we don’t attempt to protect ourselves by our own imagined “control” in the spiritual world. We have none.

Only God is sufficient to protect you. You must trust entirely in him, and not at all on your own devices. You must trust him in every situation God allows you to be confronted with. Let all you do in the way of protection be in obedience to what you hear in prayer, and do not give way to fear of the one who prowls as if he were a lion. It is by faith that the evil is resisted and defeated.

If the Lord is telling you to stay out of that house, stay out of it.

I would just not go and try to convince your husband of this as well. You should always be safe in types of situations like this. If you must go I would repeatedly pray Our Father in your head.

However dealing with witches is not something that should be taken lightly. I see no problem with carrying Sacramentals with you. Of course these should be accompanied with prayer, because they have no power by themselves.

That is what I mean. Your ultimate trust must be in God, not things.

If you carry a sacramental because God gave us these things for our spirtual comfort and advancement, this is fine. If you think God will quit protecting you if you forget your crucifix or if your neighbor accidentally borrows your “holy rock” for their water feature, or if you use prayer like some sort of Christian incantation that forces God to obey you, then you have a superstition problem.

No, I’m not a priest 😃 . I’m non-Catholic. All the advice I give is as a non-Catholic and I usually offer that information. However, I am a Christian.

I have never heard the practice of anointing four rocks around your house. Is that common?

I understand what you are saying EJ.

Faith in God is a prerequisite of course. But, it would be foolish if God offered ways to protect us and we didn’t follow through on them. Why use holy water, anointing oil and sacramentals? Do they not have any use for holy purposes?

God provides tools for us (material tools) which we use through our spiritual faculty. We are co-creators with God.

We’re not talking here of spiritual protection for oneself only. We are talking spiritual warfare against the enemy, witches and warlocks.

Every child of God must go forth as a soldier in battle, with sword, shield and armor. We are doing this when we have faith in God, using holy water, medals, sacramentals, etc. It’s all-inclusive - spiritual and material.

Peace…

 Sounds a bit heretical. What do you mean?
LOL. God created Adam and Eve. Through God, we give life to other beings by the union of man and wife. We are not co-Creators, but co-creators. If you think it is heretical, then I understand.

I’m not saying we are equal with the Lord Jesus and the Father.

Peace…

Are you merely saying that humans create other humans. Sorry I don’t understand what you are saying. That’s ok, however I’m not accusing you of being a heretic. 🙂
