More GOP endorsements -- for Biden

If the Republican party splits, then it will surely lose. As Abe Lincoln once noted: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

I don’t understand why these folks think their personal feelings about our President’s personality is more important than the good he has done for our (and THEIR) country.

Shouldn’t they consider that they will have to sleep in the bed they make for the rest of us?

You know what I think? I think there are a lot of republican politicians that would rather a Dem win then Trump because for all intent and purposes they all are a bunch of elitists who resent him for winning the election. Just different sides of the same coin. Trump has pulled the curtain back on the establishment machine.How dare he!:roll_eyes:
 
Yep sure did,that’s why voted for Trump he isn’t establishment.
I’d like to see term limits on the senate and house they all get waaaaay too comfortable and are pretty much ineffective
 
How about a vote of no confidence such as they have in some countries?
 
I never voted for or supported Jeff Flake!! I voted for Mitt Romney when he ran against Obama, but I was never a big fan of Romney.

These politicians can’t stand it that a businessman beat them. How dare he?
 
I think the Deep State is made up of both democrats and republicans. I am not sure who is in control.
 
It is not surprising at all that many in the GOP are endorsing Biden. The GOP used to support free trade and fiscal responsibility. Now they support protectionism, an abysmal mercantilist ideology, and massive government debt. They used to support states rights. Now they support a wannabe authoritarian. They used to support democracy abroad. Now they support dictators. The current GOP is a small group of people who put party ahead of country.

I can't recall a GOP convention that was as saturated with religious symbolism, moral posturing and spiritual gaslighting as the one the Democrats just inflicted on us...and they didn't even let Marianne Williamson near a camera.

There are some in the democrat party endorsing Trump so it goes both ways.
 
I saw 2 people so far giving speeches at the convention.

One was a mayor from Minneapolis I believe and the other was an African American man from Georgia - I
am not sure if he was a politician, but his speech was very powerful. Both identified as democrats.
 
Some people aren’t good with names. Who cares? You asked, they answered.

Yes as opposed to the very memorable GOP figures who have endorsed Biden. Most of them neocons, it seems.

…Colin Powell, who helped cover up the My Lai massacre and lied about WMDs to invade Iraq, sermonizing on “values” is both appalling and ridiculous.
