These types of people often believe being faithful and obedient is, at best, for the weak minded.

These women want to become priests, but don’t want to be bound by the rules of the priesthood. What about celibacy, homosexuality, do these women think they have more rights than a male priest in that regard? They just show how weak they really are. Grow up ladies, the feminist movement of the 70’s is over. Deal with it. We were told a lie back then that we could have it all. Not true. God made men and women for a reason. We are different and are called to do different things by God. Accept it and stop making fools of yourselves. You are making the rest of us women look bad with your ridiculous attempt to be the same as a man. If you truly loved God and the Church you would be happy with the station in life God has given you, but it seems that selfishness has blinded you to the Truth.

I couldn’t agree more to what have you said !!! Two thumbs up!!👍

Umm… Was this directed at me? I am not Father John Corapi. I quote him on my signature line. That is why it is quotes and italics while his name is not.

Yes, absolutely we should correct people. That is the purpose of excommunication. To tell people that what they have done is seriously wrong and it also invites them to return to the Church. Unfortunately, in our society it is much more stylish to thumb your nose then claim to be persecuted. These types of people often believe being faithful and obedient is, at best, for the weak minded./QUOTE

Please axcept my apology !! 😊
I got a bit carried away, i mis-understood the “quote” and took it as “that having a go at a person if they are in error, it is not an act of charity” i’m new at this, and like i said i’m not the sharpest knife in the draw … However i’m glad we agree… 👍

As a woman who holds an advanced theology degree, I an AMAZED that these women continue to think that the Catholic Church will accept the ordination of women if they ordained women. With each ordination, they set their own movement back HUNDREDS OF YEARS. The Roman Catholic Church has spoken. The Church CAN NOT ORDAIN WOMEN. Their alleged “ordination” is clearly invalid. If they spent more time serving the Church rather than being actively disobedient to it, they would help ALL WOMEN in ministry to be more accepted in the authentic ministry that God has called them to.

It is always great to hear a woman speak like you do. Being a male i can only admire people like youself, because it takes women like youself, that can take the fight to these other women who seem totally lost … “IT SOMETIMES TAKES FIRE TO FIGHT FIRE”

I guess all of this means that my planned devotion to the virgin Mario is doomed before it starts? It makes just as much sense.

Heaven help us!

No problem. I can see from your post count that you are new, at least to here.

And welcome, by the way! 🙂

The context of my Fr. Corapi quote is that to ignore someone who is engaging in serious sin, such as pre-marital cohabitation, homosexual activity, or other serious public sins is not doing them any favors. Instead, failing to charitably and with gentle love, guide them back to the truth, is an act of hate, not love.
