I just find it interesting that some Christians feel that forgiveness is something one can turn on and off like a light switch. That is not forgiveness; that’s not dealing with the issue at hand. To “move on” without thought of personal responsibility on the part of the other who did the wrong is just thoughtless and reckless. Forgiveness does not mean letting it go without personal responsibility.In case you missed one or more of the earlier posts on this subject. The criminal investigation into this has been halted by the parish that was vandalized.

Essentially, two of the three of these missionaries have gotten off scott free. Only one has made any sort of apology. The other two have yet to be heard from.
By the way, I don’t know if you meant to use the word *persecution *in your statement, or if your really meant prosecution. Someone being held accountable for their actions, is not persecution. Whether it is religously based or not.
Christ was persecuted, these young could have been prosecuted. Big difference.
