I’m sorry but I just have to say this. You seem VERY full of yourself or something having a answer here for frequently answered questions. Do you know all? Really it is just silly.

You know i know someone who took a year to get thier name removed for the LDS Church and guess what they wanted it done in 30 days.

Whos slow now?

Also knowing what outdarkness will be like is silly also

Remember that Zerinus is an adolescent, about 16 years old. When I was 16 I knew everything too. 😉

Funny how I became more ignorant as I grew older. 🙂

I went to an Islanders game two nights ago with my son and sat in a section that is notoriously rowdy (section 330) with 15-20 year olds drunk and going nuts. I used to be one of those guys in High School who would rant and go on at the games when I had season tickets (section 329). Now I am embarassed I was ever one of those guys, I couldn’t believe how what I thought was cool at 16 was actually really annoying and stupid.

Okay, I was off for Christmas, and I see you are all eagerly waiting for a debate. In answer to your challenge, I can only point you to the scriptures (which I am sure you are familiar with but for some reason, perhaps a lively debate, you want recited):
17 Now, if there be two things, one above the other, and the moon be above the earth, then it may be that a planet or a star may exist above it; and there is nothing that the Lord thy God shall take in his heart to do but what he will do it.

Book of Abraham. It tells me that there is only ONE God, all others were,are and will be, false. This morman teaching is nothing more than crude polytheism and is an invention of a false religion. Full stop.

Book of Abraham (the 2nd most embarrassing forgery of Joseph Smith’s career) chapter 3 verses 16-19.

What does that have to do with anything? Are you using that passage to support the idea that your god has a god who has a god who has a god…ad infinitum? Why would you consider that a good thing? That means that your “gospel” is just a pyramid scheme, with your god as a Sapphire Distributor trying to become a Diamond Distributor at your expense.

I don’t want to worship a demi-god who worships a god of his own.

My God is the one and only God, who has always been God and created everything, seen and unseen. Your demi-god hasn’t the power to save you. Only the real God has that power.

heck even to use the BOM, D&C and Pearl of great price is just silly

OMG I just realized it is like those thing like a picture where the guy is reading a book and on the tv the guy is reading the book etc. like it is a never ending of the same

but i have a question which God is the God they should worship when they themselves are Gods? or do they not worship Gods but themselves.

If memory serves me correctly things never went well with those who made Gods of themselves

There is only one version of the Book of Abraham, and that’s it.

I know, its sounds clunky and awful. As soon as I began to read that* verse *rmcmullan posted my first thought was, Oh, yuck!

That doesn’t sound anything like Scripture; King James or otherwise.
 
oh i know it isn’t king james version of the bible. I read all of the So called scriptures of the LDS church WASTE OF TIME!

anyway. I just think if your trying to ‘prove’ something it should be from the same text everyone uses. its like i won’t prove something from a different textbook in class I will use the same ya know

I always did laugh at the book of moses. he had so much time on his hands to write on scrolls a bit more than what the insipred bible had
oh ya and good ol abraham. I worry though it seems that with all those added books jesus is still not 100 percent in the church. 😦

How come in the book of mormon it says the word books they had no such things and PLEASE don’t tell me it is so people understand. I perfectly know well enough what a scroll is and that that is what the people of the Old and new testament wrote on.

I feel bad for LDS peoples because they can’t see small and simple mistakes. they just say theyu are sopsed to be there and if you question stuff like that you are of the devil. personally when the LDS church calls the Catholic Church the church of the devil I say "come one and all to the best church!- The TRUE church of Christ- the church of satan AKA the CATHOLIC church 😉

Amazing that the Mormons are so gullible to still believe in the Book of Abraham. The original scroll was found in 1966 and examined by Egyptologists. It was found to be an ordinary Book of Breathings, the pagan funerary text that was buried with all Egyptian mummies. It bore no resemblance to the Book of Abraham that sprang from Joseph Smith’s prodigious imagination. And it was found to date from much later than the time of Abraham, though Joseph Smith’s “translation” (read: fabrication) says that it was written by Abraham’s “own hand upon the papyrus”.

Even the eminent Mormon historian B.H. Roberts declared the Book of Abraham to be a fake. B.H. Roberts later came to believe that the Book of Mormon was also a 19th century work of fiction.

What really baffles is the robotic insistence that it IS ‘holy scripture,’ from mormon apologists!

They remind me of Baghdad Bob who told the world media (televised live no less!) that the American tanks were being turned away on the outskirts of the capital, and Lo and Behold, moving into view was an Abrams battletank through the window behind him!

To admit to this mistake would be to open the floodgates to the whole man-made, goofy, self-contradictory history and compilation of lies from the mormon hierarchy since the days of the Profit!
