Yes Mormons recognize other denominations as Christians, they believe they are the only “true church” directly receiving power from Christ and that all others are apostate but they do recognize others as Christians. ALSO! No one is converted by being post-humously baptized; as I stated earlier they believe it gives you the CHOICE after you have died to receive their teachings and then become a part of their church.Yeah…That’s the problem, you see. Mormons are NOT Christians.
Also, they don’t recognize Catholics (or Protestants, or anybody but themselves) as Christian.
Look at it like this: How would you like it, if I came over there, gathered up the names of all your ancestors, and had them “converted” to being Methodists?
You’d be upset at my nerve…and rightly so.
