Sheesh!

It’s time this thread was closed. Sorry, Meggie! I applaud your spirit of St. Francis. Unfortunately, due to 911 in our country, we don’t seem to be very charitable toward Muslims nowadays.

I do not believe that terrorists make the religion. But I do believe that religion can and sometimes does make the terrorist. What then? Should we all abolish religion? Of course not!!! How many here are praying for the terrorists conversion? Don’t fall into the “throw the baby out with the bath water” mentality! It would be all too easy to judge Muslim adherents by the activity of a loud few. Don’t do it! Just pray for them! That’s my 2 cents and the end of this for me. - God bless!!! - Michelle
 
It is too bad this thread got off on a tangent. As I read Maggie’s comment she is admiring her Muslim roommate for her public expression of her faith. Kind of like Catholics automatically making the Sign of the Cross in public.

We are called to love our enemies and do good to those that hate us.
 
They might be “cool” but without Jesus they are hopelessly lost in their sin and will go to hell. That is very sad and should motivate us all to share the good news of Christ with them.
