Oh, I think the thing itself is real and operating at high levels in society as well as an individual level - in a non zany conspiracy theorist sense, clearly influential powers are lobbying successfully against Christian morality, even internationally. I think the overt public satanism thing has tended to be, like occultism more generally, something that pulls in people who are vulnerable or think it is harmless (which is a vulnerability in itself, I guess).

I think things are changing, though, and I suspect you might be right - the words of a Russian orthodox priest that formerly Christian communities are preparing themselves for the solemn reception of the antichrist, seem to ring true.

It isn’t only about recent events, although I think western society has had a low level humming of evil that a lot of decent people have tried to get on and ignore and avoid for a while now.

The use of lies, leverage, repression and well, any means necessary to bring about an inversion of Christian morality in legislation and the social code is most blatant now.
 
I thought the statue looked familiar. Glad it is no longer going to Oklahoma, but I wouldn’t want it in my state.

According to a recent article they want to place it outside the Arkansas statehouse in Little Rock by the Ten Commandments monument.
 
It seems that when a body is weak and afflicted spiritually, it is susceptible to infection or other things. Detroit is in an advanced state of decay, is this “event” possible because of that?

Hopefully, there will be enough will among Catholics and others to fight this “infection” off.

I too believe in freedom of religion, freedom of expression. . . etc., but would you display a statue of Hitler, would you burn crosses. . . etc., i.e., there are limitations to our freedoms?

This statue represents evil to believing Christians, Muslims, and Jews, even if the people displaying it don’t believe it to be so. And one as to ask, why display a statue of demonic proportions, which you don’t believe in anyways?

Because this has nothing to do with freedom of religion or expression in the sense that their aims are rather to remove all religion from secular society (why else place such a statue next to the 10 Commandments).

p.s. They are very cunning, Satan would be proud.
 
There is more of a catholic response to attention seeking minor things like this than there is to the far more powerful and despicable homosexual lobby, The Satanists aren’t hosting parades of degeneracy in major cities across the globe, another group that far some reason gets no opposition is.

I wouldn’t call this minor if one understands the reasons behind putting up the statue in the first place.

We should not fear these people, we should not fear satan, we should fear only the Lord.

We should pray for the souls of these poor people who are involved in this, they too are children of God.

We should oppose this and fight it with prayer.

Yes, the reason they are not doing it in Oklahoma is because Oklahoma decided it was unconstitutional for any religious monument at a government building. The satanic group considers this a “victory”. What they fail to understand is, in the end, we we’ve already won by His cross and resurrection.
